By definition if we're spending resources to get a kid to come here who we would accept a commit from and he doesn't choose us that's a whiff. Some kids don't want to come here at all but when they're interested and you don't close that's on you. Salesmen don't keep their jobs by getting close to selling something

You don't even know what the frick you're talking about. We were talent deficient in several areas, but defensive end is not one of them. Would it be nice to have a 5 star defensive end? Hell yes, but it's also not an area that cost us games last year or will again this year. It's like buying a party barge when you already have a ski boat but don't have a car.

There wasn't any true whiffs today.
You could say Thomas just due to the movement last night but I still felt all along he was going to Stanford. You don't work that hard to get in to a school and not go there.
