With him being from Pine Bluff, wonder if he's Jackie Harris's kid?

Good question... I did some Google-Fu and found an article from the Pine Bluff Commercial, which I'm going to have to copy-paste because the website tries to force you to sign-in. I just ripped this from the page source code to get around it:

quote:

Pine Bluff attorney and former professional football player Jackie B. Harris has been appointed Jefferson County attorney by County Judge Dutch King.

Harris was named to the position Wednesday. He replaces Terry Wynne, who resigned last week after his law license was suspended for one year by a Supreme Court committee on professional conduct.

According to a press release from King’s office, Harris “came highly recommended for the quality of his work and outstanding professionalism. He has extensive experience working with various units of local government in Jefferson County.”

Harris is an attorney with the law firm of McKissic & Associates, P.L.L.C., a private-practice law firm providing legal services to individuals, corporations, and nonprofit organizations. He specializes is the areas of trusts, probate and estates and estate planning. He is a member of the House of Delegates of the Arkansas Bar Association and was appointed to the House Advisory Committee of the Arkansas Bar Association in June 2011.

He received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s William H. Bowen School of Law.

Before joining McKissic & Associates, Harris spent 12 seasons playing tight end for several National Football League teams including the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tennessee Titans. He finished his career with the Dallas Cowboys. He was All-Pro selection after the 1993 season ands finished his playing career after the 2001 season. He had 393 career receptions for 4,410 yards and 25 touchdowns.

A native of Pine Bluff, Harris is married to the former Letrece Scott of DeRidder, La., and they have three children, Jackie Jr., Joshua and Jonathan. He has also been involved with several youth mentoring organizations since 2001.

Looks like the answer is 'yes'.

The question marks are when you translate a different keyboard over to English (US.) So if it's emoji or kanji or something else that folks do, it won't come over in translation unless you have that keyboard installed.

I know, but I doubt Demetrius Jackson is writing anything in kanji. I see lots of typical Americans writing something in their tweets that come across as boxes. I'm guessing it's something mundane and inconsequential, but I'd still like to see what it is.

edit: it's probably emoticons of some sort, and frick if I'm going to install them

I was lurking on a Stanford message board and I noticed that some of their fans thought Solly was going to sign with us because his girlfriend is going to Arkansas.

Hmmm....maybe a Stanford education isn't what it used to be.

Otis Kirk is worthless.

It saddens me that there are people dumb enough that they don't get it yet. And those dummies are in our fanbase.

y'all do yourselves a favor and watch this Harris kid's video.

If only we've had MLB play like that in the last decade or so...

I guess because he's 5'11 he didn't get looked at but he's got some athleticism and plays instinctively and intensely.

That's a hell of a walk on.

Isn't this the type of kid Bert talked about getting into the "walk-on" program?

Isn't Bert start the foundation to a redshirt program?

Fire Jeff Long, Bert, and Mike for doing exactly what they said they would in building programs on firm ground, I want to win now damn it, we can worry about tomorrow when it comes.
