I took this as meaning that He (Collins) and AR are just too different. He is at home in FL, and that is where he intends on staying. I hope to hell that I am wrong, but this is just how I took it.
You forgot this part:

But there is neither East nor West, Border, nor Breed, nor Birth,
When two strong men stand face to face, though they come from the ends of the earth!

So it doesn't actually imply that he and AR are just too different. (if he is, indeed, referencing the Ballad of East and West, and understands it)

edit: which I find unlikely

Has Tenpenny said anything at all in the last week? Any crazy encrypted tweets? Anything?

It's kind of sad when a group of grown men/women are discussing the literary meaning behind some teenage boy's tweet on the internet.

"I think a late push by Arkansas has put them in position to land Collins," ESPN RecruitingNation's Florida coordinator Corey Long told Rumor Central. "He was very comfortable with (Arkansas head coach) Bret Bielema and (defensive line coach) Charlie Partridge when they were recruiting him at Wisconsin. The familiarity with the staff and a chance to play in the SEC looks like a good fit for Collins."

Corey Dowler of ESPN RecruitingNation also told Rumor Central Arkansas is the likely choice here, but it's "really, really close."

Maybe Collins is a fan of poetry

If I was a top recruit, I would post random Shakespeare and Poe excerpts and laugh as sports fans try to interpret classic poetry and how it applies to the recruiting trail.

That would be awesome. I would guarantee that half of what these guys say is just to get emotional responses from middle aged men and watch the internet blow up.

I personally want to tell all of these 17 and 18 year old kids to go frick themselves. I shy away from recruiting talk because none of these little bitches deserve the love they get, especially the ones like Collins that toy with one school or another.

Pick where you want to play football and be done with it. If you literally wait until the last minute to decide, you've either wasted the first 18 years of your life on this decision, or you're just a drama queen that thinks you are special.

Quote from Danny West:
quote:

All I was told is that things aren't looking as good for Arkansas as they were two days ago. I asked if it had to do with Nebraska's final visit on Friday and was told yes, it looks like the Huskers made a strong push toward the end. I do know at least one of Dwayne's close family members was really pushing him to Nebraska. In fact I was told that Bielema thought Dwayne probably would have committed to the Hogs last Wednesday had this family member not be present for their in-home. It's not a parent, by the way.

Sounds like Nebraska paid off the right Uncle.
