I watched Jalen Hurts start over Tua until the GOAT couldn’t hide the deficiencies and was gonna lose a championship over it.

I watched Jalen Milroe not get benched when he’d become completely ineffective and was costing us games for a full season.

I have no QB prediction because I don’t trust coaches to make the right decision when it comes to benching a QB or promoting a younger QB to QB1 when it’s needed to win games at an elite level.

I know if I were making decisions Keelon Russell would’ve been named based on what I’ve seen and I would sleep well at night about it.

I’ve seen nothing to make me believe Austin Mack can deliver the ball accurately in the short to intermediate game and if you can’t do that with a bad to average OL you are cooked.

He’ll get a few during mop up duty but it’s hard to throw TD’s from the sidelines wearing a headset. I thought Mack looked pretty good when he replaced Ty in the Rose Bowl but Keelon is just one of those guys like Tua or Bryce: pinpoint accuracy, almost always finding the right guy who is open, and able to make plays when there’s not a play there. He’s got “IT!” And the sooner we get him under center, the sooner he can finish the adjustment to this level and be a lethal weapon.

If he is a backup 20, he will get a lot of garbage time minutes. If he is a starter 69ish. 63 passing 7-10 rushing.

The OLine is fine. It’s not the OLine that’s the issue. The OLine only needs to be decent for this offense to be extremely good.

Hope Kalen goes with #12 from the get-go. He will struggle early but let's get it out of the way and move forward. #10 will leave after the season but #12 should be ready for 2027 and the backup QB roster should have a QB ready.

Hoping for the best but expect the worse and you will not be disappointed.
