With all the hype Bama football is getting for this season

I don't think we are getting That hyped. Maybe i'm just not paying attention.

I do think that a lot of people who aren't part of the ESPN hype machine probably realize that Ohio State was just as overrated as Notre Dame last year though, if not moreso. So that might be part of the reason sportswriters have been a little slow to crown them preseason champs.

Everybody has to replace a lot though. LSU lost a ton on defense and their offense is still a fricking joke until further notice. We lost 3 All American caliber players, including 2 first round picks, off our OL. UGA lost half of their starting defense. Florida still has Jeff Driskel at QB. Aggy lost a lot of their OL. Notre Dame lost..well, everything. Oklahoma still has Bob Stoops. Florida State still has Jimbo and may have lost the brains behind that operation. Clemson still has Dabo, and they are still Clemson.

Just not a lot of clarity. There isn't that one team you can point to and say "these guys are going to go kick everyone's arse."

I honestly feel like this might be a Dark Horse year, like the rise and fall of Texas.

No denying Bama has the schedule in place to put them back in the NC game though..

I feel like with everything that everyone is writing, it is under the assumption that we are the best team. Also, saying Alabama is going to win it all really won't sell much of anything.

Winning nc title every season is an unrealistic goal.

He said there is no excuse to not win it. Sure there's an excuse. Fatigue, god-complex, other team plays down the wire, bad luck.

He sounds like my cousin, and we have been Alabama fans since birth. I love the optimism. I personally feel like mwlewis, just happy we compete at such a high level. But either way, I can spot a real Bama fan from a mile away, and allalabamadoesiswin is the truth. Blee dat.
