Do y'all remember Jonathan Allen, Quinnen WIlliams, Courtney Upshaw, Reuben Foster, Hightower, Dre Kirk, Mark Barron, HaHa.... those mother frickers loved to HIT SOMEBODY. They absolutely loved to HIT. Who on our team today would you say love it like those boys did? Not a god damn one of them, they aren't playing angry, they are hugging stuffed animals going into the game. Bring back the edge, bring back the hate and desire to MAKE THEIR arse QUIT.

Does that mentality start with the head coach? I think you all know the answer. I told you frickers we were soft and got downvoted to hell for it, well boys, I was right.

Saban got soft, hired shite coordinators and then KDB comes around and inexplicably fosters all of that same sentiment

Bama lost the make their arse quit mantra with the adoption of the air raid in the latter part of Saban era

Saban should have retired after the 2020 NC and handed the keys to Sark. It’s been all downhill since that night.

I hate to say it, but I think all we can do at this point is hope the drought between Saban and the next great coach isn’t as long as it was between Bear and Saban. That gap was 25 years.

And yes I know Coach Stallings was in that gap. Coach Stallings was amazing, I was in my 20s when he was the coach and I absolutely love the man, but we all want sustained success with multiple championships from a coach.

That bunch came to become great so they could get paid in the NFL. These cats come to get paid before they get their jocks and socks,

Terry Saban told you the deal on that last recruiting cycle,

Terry "why are we doing this. They only care about how much money they're going to get"

Saban was following the trend of where offense was going because he knew he’d have to if he wanted to recruit elite offensive players.

And Harbaugh did not. Guess who won that game...

Uh, if you are talking about the 2024 Rose Bowl, the team that got outrushed by 42 yards and had the QB who threw for 221 yards and three touchdowns.

Exactly, Saban went to the Chuck & Duck with Kiffen.

We dominated from 2008-2013 with pro set football.

Now (2016 on started in 2014 actually but #14 was old school in 2015) we throw the ball all over the place and never practice running and stopping the run. Also, modern caches can not chew a guy out or discipline him or he might transfer. CFB is not CFB anymore, those California Judges and the NCAA who settled (on purpose) destroyed what we knew as CFB.

Have not watched since 2020, really the 2019 LSU Bama absurdity, two teams in the 40s is a joke.

The man had his battles with addiction, and was blamed for injuries (probably unfairly), but BAMA has been soft since they hired Ballou sans 2020 season.
