The problem last year with Milroe is you had no idea what to expect, so it would be incredibly hard to plan. He could either play like superman or look like he had never played before, sometimes in the same game.

The UGA game was the best example of this. Couldn't be stopped for two quarters. Then the next two he could barely manage a first down.

Consistent QB play would be amazing to see, considering what we've had to endure the past two seasons.

10-2 is probably the ceiling given the difficulty and home/road configuration of the schedule. 9-3 is my betting pick.

How can you look at this year's team and expect anything different from last year until proven otherwise? QB is still a question mark, just like last year. Coaches have to prove they know what the hell they are doing, after everything that happened last year.

Well we have Ryan Grubb calling the plays and not Nick Sheridan.

Everyone conveniently ignores we switched to new schemes on offense and defense last year.

If you didn't expect some growing pains then I don't know what to tell you.

Our weaknesses were extremely clear last season and we no longer have that problem

I completely understand growing pains. However, if that was the case, shouldn't have Alabama started off with issues and gradually improved over the year?

Alabama played it's best the first four games and then had a great 3 game stretch where they played amazing again in the middle of the season, then it fell off again. The defense would go from lights out, to paper thin, back to lights out. I don't even want to mention the offense.

Some people will blame Milroe for last season, yes he played terrible most of the year. Coaching was the issue last year. It might have just been that the coaching staff was not ready for the every week wars that are the SEC. Maybe they know this year, but it hasn't been proven yet.

I hope Alabama goes 16-0 this year, but I'm not going to believe until I see a major improvement from the coaching staff.

Well any team is going to struggle when their QB performs the way he did against Oklahoma, Tennessee and Michigan.

He was absolute dogshit in those games.

He also threw a Pick Six against Vanderbilt and we lost by five.

No one has to prove anything to you, barner. As I’ve said numerous times on here in responses to your troll posts, you need to be focused on your own program. Your pedo coach is in a position now where he has to beat Georgia and Alabama or he will get fired. But, like all other barners, you have a psychotic obsession with all things Alabama.

It ahs been quiet offseason. They been working in offseason. I don't think we'll see the same team we saw last year.

He’s been trolling here for years. Everyone here knows that he’s an Auburn troll. For some odd reason he never gets banned. Strange.

Cautiously optimistic also. Hoping for 10-2 if the OL can improve and Ty is at the very least a good game manager. Will be disappointed if we don't make the playoffs.

I typically lean realistic over optimistic or pessimistic. If you held a gun to my head right now and said I’ll be back in January to kill you or buy you dinner based on your natty pick, it would be Alabama. It’s a talented roster and it’s an old roster. There are dozens of grown arse men on this football team. Everybody loves a 5 star. We’ve got Junior and senior 5 stars.

You need to negotiate a better deal than getting a meal in contrast to being shot in the head.

I think we have the right talent to make a good run but all of that depends on how well this team gels and do we get a few things to go our way. I’d say we are better than last year so 10-2 or better.

last year's team should have been 11-1. The regular season Vanderbilt and Oklahoma losses were choke jobs primarily by one player, and that's mostly true for the Michigan game as well

You could say the same for the Tennessee game, too.
