That is just bizarre? Have any of you heard why these packages were dumped, or who is involved, or other news?

It’s been on the local news. Seems like only high dollar stuff was taken the rest just dumped.

According to the sheriff, all the packages they checked had been scanned as delivered so it was someone in the delivery chain. Guarantee you by now they already know who did it and are simply working on what charges to bring.

If this is the case, then they know exactly which truck it was on and who was driving. He drove out there and dumped packages and then screwed around for the rest of the day on the clock

From what I’ve read, it may have been one of those third-party companies that FedEx contracts with during the holiday season. Regardless, they can still see who the driver was when they scan the packages.

I don't know anything about their employment benefits but I'd think Fed Ex would be a pretty good job. A guy would have to be a moron to screw up a good job like that. I suppose some idiot like that could have been employed due to the labor shortage. I wonder if Fed Ex hired temporary holiday drivers.

my guess is it is a third party contractor as I doubt FED would hire temp drivers on their payroll. UPS and other hire temp drivers and extras on big loans to help unload and the main employee stays with the truck and the Merch

I don’t know why someone would be that stupid. Like they wouldn’t get caught.

I work for UPS and have heard of stories like this from way back. Crazy that people still try to pull it off.

And those times, who did that? Warehouse men, drivers, or what? I mean, it just seem so stupid to think you can get away with it.

A relative worked for UPS for about 40 years and I never heard him mention any crazy thing like this.
