WOAH, that's one of the best ones. A lot of people forget that we spent most of the 1990s pretty relevant, numerous top 10 rankings, 1 Natty, BCS level Bowls, 2 SEC Titles and if not for Spurrier possible more title games.

The journey from the UCLA upset back to January of 2010 was a litany disappointments.

Excellent title.

Nice, but I've always thought the Dynasty started with the win over Clemson. That was the moment I was like ohhhhhhhhh anyway.

I can see that argument too, even more so after the black out, but with the way the season ended, a fair loss to Florida and then an embarrassment to Utah, I still view that year as just another part of the underwhelming decade.

Up to that point, Bama had had a few 10 win seasons but they almost always followed with the other foot dropping the next year. 2009 was the year we knew things would be different.
