i got married the day before this game. we honeymooned in t-town and went to this game. game was very frustrating as was he marriage.
we had everyone dress up in their favorite teams colors for our wedding. hindsight is 20/20. her brother and the preacher showed up dressed in utk orange, smh... plus, we had it at the river and a train went by during the ceremony, couldnt hear anything said, oh well.

1980 Sugar Bowl. Parents were Arkansas grads, so of course I cheered for Bama.

2003 Arkansas game. I was invited by the University (high school senior). Torrential downpour. My dad and I did not stay the entire game. Ponchos were not enough to make it tolerable. Got to listen to us choke the game away on the radio with Eli and the Snake on the way home.

Vanderbilt at Alabama in Denny Stadium 1972. Bama scored first but missed the PAT and Vandy briefly took a 7-6 lead late in the 1st quarter. Apparently that pissed off Coach Bryant and the team as it was 34-7 at the half . They cruised to a 48-21 victory.

1972 Bama vs SMU. Bama won big and all but one TD was scored in the endzone where my family was sitting!

Me too.
That 80-yard rope to Joey Kent on the first play still haunts me.

The Peyton Manning game in Birmingham. Disgusting.
Me and my buddy didn’t have tickets, tried to bribe our way into Legion Field and could not find any takers at the gates. Saved me some cash.

We came back from 21 down at Ole Miss that year as I recall.
This game was in Memorial Stadium in Jackson, MS, I was there. Ole Miss went up 21-0 on some fluke plays because BAMA came out flat in all phases. Offense got rolling and we steamrolled them 62-27, it was fantastic.

Damn I forgot. How did that happen?
I must’ve been too busy watching Sela Ward and her cheerleading gang.
Has anybody seen a prettier cheer leader at Alabama since her time? I haven’t.

2004 vs ole miss
28-7 bama win
Brodie Croyle was the QB then
Lot of nostalgic players for me on the team back then
Darby, Le’Ron McClain, Prothro, Tim Castille, Wallace Gillberry, Wesley Britt, Roman Harper, Freddie Roach, Mark Anderson, Ray Hudson and little 5’4 Brandon Brookes as returner

1994 vs. UT Chattanooga at Legion Field.
It was the first game of my freshman year in college. Best game of that year was the Georgia game in Tuscaloosa. That was when I got my first "real" Alabama football experience.
