Man I wanted him to be good. I really was pulling for him. He seems very likable and loved the university. But he just wasn’t a quarterback.

I appreciate him beating auburn and Georgia twice and skullfricking LSU twice though.

The guy broke Auburn's heart, beat UGA twice, and demoralized LSU twice. Yet he couldn't complete basic passes against Oklahoma or Michigan. So frustrating.

Milroe - 6-0 vs UGA/LSU/AU ( 3 of our biggest rivals). 0-4 vs Michigan, Vandy, Oklahoma.

I got attacked mercilessly by his supporters on the BOL round table after the Rose Bowl loss last year.

As poorly as he played in that game, it was well enough to win... until he fumbled the damn ball in the 4th quarter. Bama was driving and en route to grinding that game out until then, which makes it even more frustrating.

Never seen a QB make protecting the football such a low priority. I can't find a website that has his career fumble numbers, but I bet it's high.

It’s maddening. The sequence of plays that led to 4th and 31 sums up his decision making in a nutshell. We were just very fortunate that the Auburn defensive coaches decided to sit back and play coverage instead of blitzing. How Milroe would be perceived had that play gone differently is something that I think about sometimes. It was a great play. But it still showed the massive flaws in his game.

He spent too much time trying to play off of pure athletic talent. His ball security skills were awful, his footwork was awful, his overall throwing mechanics were awful and stayed that way the entire two years he was the starter. It's no surprise he's massively struggling at the Senior Bowl.

He had a similar sequence vs South Carolina this year. Safety, Bama D forces a sack fumble, then Milroe immediately throws a pick, fully showcasing his bonehead decision making.

I'm sure the defense secretly hated him. Routinely putting them in bad spots and then usually scoring no points after they gifted him a turnover and good field position.

Oh you know they did. I remember when he threw the interception against Tennessee in the first quarter Tyler Booker walked by him on the sideline and you could tell that Booker was visibly pissed off. Why he wasn’t benched I will never know.

Milroe had 9 fumbles in 2024, losing 6. Lanorris Sellers had 11, losing 6 as well.

If Todd were still with ESPN, I don't believe he would make these same comments about #4.

Why any NFL front office would invest a lot of money in him is beyond me. I certainly wouldn’t pay my hard earned money to watch that kind of product on the field. I guess in a city like Cleveland it might be acceptable. But not with a high level franchise in a big media market.

Half of the NFL teams could call Manpower for a GM and still have about the same results.

There are still quite a few people out there on other boards (not this one) and comment sections (Instagram, FB, etc) that will still staunchly defend his playing for some reason. Truly baffling he can be as bad as he is and still have so much support out there

I know. I’ve seen the comments on social media platforms and You Tube pages. It’s utterly bizarre how so many people defended him and still continue to do so. I got into some serious arguments with certain posters on BOL last year who would attack people for merely telling the truth about what we were all watching.

I didn't even know McShay was still around. I don't think I've heard him since that weird episode during our game with Miami several years ago.

I fixed it for you. I've often thought that I could seriously do as good or better job of evaluating talent than some of these clowns. Admittedly, I'd need some help handling the mind-bending salary cap thing but how hard can the job really be? 3/4 of them seem incompetent.

I remember that. It looked like he was having a seizure or perhaps a stroke live on television.

Nope nope nope, I don’t wanna see anyone talk negative about Milroe now. The media loved him and said we’d go far with him.

We’ve known it for two years and the coaching staff knew it but they were loyal to a fault.

Milroe is a great human being, but he’s a terrible QB. Draft him in the first round like you all claimed and deal with the consequences.

I don't know what happened to him but must have had some medical issues going on because right before he disappeared off TV he looked like death warmed over.
