I'm just worried about them trying to hurt our guys.

Is there some reason they would do that? Just curious, I didn’t think there was bad blood between them

Pretty sure Mercer went low on Will Anderson and injured his knee in 2021

Jump to an early big lead, rest the starters and let Simpson run the entire offense. In the last 5 minutes, put the 3rd team and some walk ons in.

Mercer is 9-1 on the season and leading their conference. Western Ky, our opening game, is 7-2 and leading C - USA. Our strength of schedule is at least top 5.

As far as cupcakes go, Mercer is a decent team. I want to see us come out firing...no 3-0 entering the second quarter.

I don't want to see Milroe run much at all...let's focus on getting more in tune with the WRs in the passing game and let our RBs eat.

Really would like to see second teamers in there after the first drive of the second half.

I'll be interested to see how our Tackles hold up against Mercer's smaller, (reasonably) quick/fast ends in pass pro. Hopefully they've improved since earlier this year.
