Is there a good chance Bama gets Prohm? Any rumors out of ttown?

Rumor is we’re making a run at a bigger target and Prohm is the fallback option at this point. I think he’s a definite yes if the other guy falls through. Would love to know who we are trying for.

I’ll tell you what I’ve heard, but it was just from a random guy in the tip-off club. Rumor is Prohm has agreed, but he wants to bring in a certain high school coach as one of his assistants. I don’t believe it and feel just a wee bit guilty about spreading the rumor.

Hopefully, he's FAR down on Byrne's list of people to call. The AD needs to strike out with some impressive names before he gets down that far.

He needs to take the Moore/Saban approach. I don’t care that we aren’t a “blue blood.” Make the Billy Donovan’s of the world tell you no. Our first offer shouldn’t be to a pretty good basketball coach.

I just don’t know how much of a huge upgrade Prohm would be over Gottfried-Grant-Johnson. I wouldn’t be ecstatic.

He has a loaded team coming back next year, not sure why he would want to come to Alabama. He will probably leverage us into getting a 500,000 a year raise where he is. I suppose if money is his most important objective then we could probably outbid Iowa State by 500,000 or so, not sure money is his main objective though.

If we end up with Prohm after seeing some of the King Kong names being thrown around it’s going to be a major letdown.
