We tried prohibition and it doesn’t work in our country

Making it legal ain't gonna work either. Believe it or not there are people who dont try things when its illegal. FBI stats have Marijuana as the number 1 drug detected in blood after an accident in Alabama. The boy who killed the announcer and his wife from au was high on weed.

Do we think that we can regulate it safely? Because the opioid crisis has shown that we can't. I think weed gives people a false sense...they think they aren't addicted and yet can't go 4 hours without smoking some or they have it around their kids or they smoke it out in the open around kids. You think I want to go on vacation and smell weed from passing cars? That I want my grandkids smelling that shite?

How about people that use drugs as a crutch, help them with their anxiety? How about persevere, become mentally strong and dont rely on substances to help you overcome life. At which point do you ask yourself am I using the drug or is the drug using me?

Not directing this at you personally just think its ok not to have everything that people want to do legal.

I’m not saying you don’t have validity to some of your points. I know tons of people who can’t go through a day without smoking and have fried their brains.

I also know alcoholics, and sex addicts, and people who have gambled their rent money away. I know people who don’t realize they’re addicted to buying worthless shite. They feel bad about themselves until they go buy a bunch of shite they don’t need.

It’s a messed up world with some messed up people who can’t moderate or control their actions. If we’re clamping down on people’s ability to do what we want then we shouldn’t pick and choose the things that are harmful…but we do be loving our civil liberties.

This is just someone who had marijuana in their home so no one was really being harmed by it. I’d have rather him not have done it, but no one was in danger.

Obviously I feel strongly about this lol but there are definitely others who feel as strongly who want it legalized.

I also want stronger gun control laws too lol

Also, and this is just informational, this is because of the way marijuana metabolizes. If you’re a regular smoker you could have not smoked for a while and it still be in your system.

Amphetamines, cocaine, opioids, etc all leave the system significantly faster than marijuana. Marijuana is also by far the most popular drug so it’s going to show up a lot more for those two reasons.

Driving while high is a huge problem so you’re not wrong at all. It’s just that those “in the blood” stats can be a bit skewed.

You are a Dumbass! Nate Oats has been the best thing to happen to Alabama basketball in its history! I am sure you want Kaylen DeBoer run off also. Let me ask you a question. Who do you think you could get that is better for either position?
