Yeah, maybe there is a reason his role has diminished.
He was absolutely terrible today. Even that interception should never have happened.

Lol he was just terrible today. Even the wide open passes he caught were bobbled. Now we know why sims doesn't throw to howard

Jones fricked up so bad. SO BAD. He officially lost Alabama this game. That was just a gut wrenching play.......sigh

I rather we forced the ball to the players who will actually make plays.
That dude was a passenger all day long. From holding, to dropped balls, to poor effort.
We needed him to step up, not step down.

Held us out of a first down then was passive as hell vs Golson the very next play. I'd rather force it to Cooper in double coverage than this shite

Exactly. He was passive as hell on that last damn pass like we were up by 20 and throwing for fun.
You are fricking 6'6!! You let a 5'9 corner back BEAT you in the air????
100% motivated 6'6 tightend with his speed catches that and we win. Instead he slows down, throws his hands up and watches another kid pick the damn ball.

Tony Brown was just as bad.
Leon Brown was too.
Leon Brown was too.

Yeah, I noticed on the replay that the pass hit OJ right in the hands...looked like it rolled right off of 'em...but, aside from the Jones fumble, penalties killed us...
And forget the HUNH...our D never figured out their trips overload formation the whole game...I've never seen Collins look so lost as he was today...Ole Miss had a good scheme and exploited us...
If we had won, I'd have given the game ball to JK Scott...his leg was unbelievable...he and TJ were our best players today...

With how terrible we played.. with how HORRENDOUS Landon Collins was... with how poor Tony Brown was..
WE STILL COULD HAVE WON.
If the TE everybody was begging to get my passes, actually gave the effort he was suppose to.
That last pass was a game winning TD pass. The kid slowed downed, lost the ball in the air and instead of fighting for the ball at the high point, allowed a player almost a foot shorter to come and just snatch it away.
That shite is just disgraceful.

This is why most fans need to shut the frick up and let the coaches do their job

Why aren't our WR/TE taught some DB skills? Knock the ball out of his hands.

Cyrus Jones too.
Blake Sims didn't play a good game either but he didn't lose the game.

1). That isn't something that needs to be taught. If he had an EFFORT, it would come natural.
2). He never should have had to knock it away. He is SIX fricking SIX. The ball was thrown RIGHT to him. He got lazy and let a guy almost a foot shorter take the ball away from him.
That crap is just disgraceful. He needs to rededicate himself.

Yeah 6'6" against 5'9" should be a win all day. OJ's feet must've hit wet concrete in the back of the end zone bc he didn't get off the ground for shite.

Overall agree, but they did just as much to lose the game today as the players did.

Now I see why you were so pro-Sims during fall camp...

Obviously was speaking from the QB's viewpoint. If you are asking the QB to trust you and you can't come through.... ?

I honestly don't think OJ ever saw Golson...Golson dropped off his guy and came over...only reason I can think of as to why OJ didn't go up and get it...looked to me like Golson just took it from his hands...
