It's still a Bama board. Allowing select participants from other teams will allow conversation about recruiting, games and the like, without the flaming that you get on the SECR. Flaming and arguing will not be acceptable from other fanbases. If they have a disagreement or feel the need to argue something, they have the SECR to take up issues they have.

If I want to discuss football with opposing fans I go to the rant. I mean, that is the purpose of it after all. I guess I just figured an Alabama board would be for Alabama fans. This is where I want sunshine pumped in my arse and give you guys handies under the table. I don't like seeing those disgusting colors in here.

There are fans of other schools who genuinely respect what UA stands for and enjoy talking about sports with out shouting over flamers.

I'll have to respectfully disagree. They might be hesitant to allow other fans on the board but there's an argument to be made that the SEC Rant and the Recruiting Board would suffice for "inter-fan" discussions. I don't really mind one way or the other, but I like our posters in general.

frick no. I'm with Bird. I say we rise above that petty shite. I'm happy with the Auburn posters we have over here now, and there are a few select others whom I wouldn't mind seeing get access.

The fact that two recruiting threads between AU and UA worked beautifully in the last few days proves it is not needed here. Most of us know it is just for chatting between friends.
