It was so hot yesterday, a lady in the stands in front of me over heated and they had to come get her.
The two things that stuck out the most to me that were negative was 70 getting whipped a few times and Russell needs to know where his check downs are. A lot of times they’re off to the side wide open, but he does like most athletic young quarterbacks and holds the ball forever and turns it into something but against SEC defenses that are bigger and faster that won’t be there all the time. But I saw a lot of good as well.

Whats going to happen and get ready for it is teams are gonna send everyone but the mascot til our OL and young QB prove they can handle it.

This is true, a lot of times they were way on the other side of the field almost like the offensive coordinator is just using the guy as a deciy to pull that defender away from the middle of the field to open up a running lane for him or passing lanes for other guys

Defense looked great outside of one busted coverage - ECU did nothing. The coverage bust was concerning, Bray Hubbard is a liability in coverage and afraid good teams will exploit that.
We are different at RB this year. Hill looks slimmer and quicker. Crowell and the Brown are HR threats which we completely lacked last year and Riley has good vision.
The OL was inconsistent but we couldn’t run even against G5 teams last year and I saw much more space to run yesterday. Everyone will say it was ECU but still better than last year.

A lot of times that motion is nothing more than giving the QB a tell on what the defense is in. That's valuable for any QB, let alone a young one that has barely played.
I do wish if we were going to do it that we'd get to the line quicker. Huddling and then doing all the shifting puts the offense in a bad spot trying to get the snap a lot of times.
