Agree. Can’t imagine Waddle taking the risk unless he was 100%. Would love to see he play but seriously doubt it. Believe it is wishful thinking.

Waddle will not play period. He is not anywhere where he needs to be to play in the next 2 weeks.

How do you know? You have inside Intel to back that up?

Everything is 50/50.. you don't know what he is doing everyday to get back. What you saw in game v.s. where he is today is different.

He has made good progress and is running and doing all of that.

Contact, cuts, pads, full speed. We will see. He won’t play against ND but maybe the Natty if we win.

I don't know why folks are hell bent on Waddle not playing.

He has a very prominent limp and grimaces when he puts more than an ordinary amount of weight on it. He can’t practice.

He may dress, but he won’t play a meaningful snap. He has made tremendous progress but he’s at a point that he won’t be football ready in 12 days.

That’s exactly what he wants Clemson to think.

XenScott... Obviously, you are busy stuck in your own arse to see what Game was played on December 19th when you noticed his limp. It's been two weeks. Today is December 29th.

Saban said this:

quote:

“Jaylen’s rehab is coming along,” Saban added. “He’s doing dry-run running, still working to try and get back. But he is making progress. We are happy to see him go out and run and do some things but he’s not back yet.”

Two weeks ago was the game... and he's already running and cutting and all the stuff, just aren't practicing with the team.

National championship is Monday, Jan. 11, 2021. In two weeks.... it'll be almost a month since SEC Championship was played. He can do enough in 1 month to get ready for championship game. I Swear... If the boy is back practicing next week and he's playing in Championship, I would like for you to come back here and comment that u were wrong.

Lol, how do you know that this is the case? You saw it once while he was on camera for two seconds during a game that occurred a week and a half ago?

I’m not saying Waddle will play if we make it to the national championship (I’m not as confident about it as some), but it’s a bit ridiculous to act like you actually know what’s going on with him down to how severe his limp is.

as of when? How many times did you observe, either directly or through reliable intel, this limp?

Saban kind of sounded dismissive of L Ray. Like he didnt even want to talk about him.

So the limp is from the weakened muscle down there and not from pain right? Hes been out of the boot for a while

He’s referring to this, 1:12 Mark.

I think Saban may be irritated Ray isn't trying to play through his injury. Remember coach said a few weeks back that Ray has been cleared to play, but that some players have to learn to play through pain at a high level

Saban did say that. That's why Im little suprised Ray isn't playing. If he doesn't play in playoff, I"m willing to bet that he will transfer somewhere.

Ray is made of glass. The only player I've seen more injury prone than Tua. Hope he gets healthy and gives us a great 2021 season.

As far as Waddle, I don't believe we will see him in crimson again--but would love to be wrong.

He might be encouraged to hit the door, if he opts out of these 2 games.

yeah that's what I figured. 11 days ago, and 12 more days until the CFP final. over 3 weeks between that incident and the final.

Saban provided another update this morning on Ray and Waddle. Neither are practicing yet, so it sounds like neither will play in the Rose Bowl. Obviously we didn’t expect Waddle to be ready yet, but it sounds like Ray isn’t going to be ready soon either.

I’d dress Waddle out and trot him out there to fair catch the opening kickoff just to scare the shite out of Notre Dame.
