Keelon Lawson, father of 2021 4 star Johnathan Lawson, tells me Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa State, Oregon and Vanderbilt are the Top 5 in the mix for his son right now, though this is not an exclusive list.

They’re eying a decision this fall, possibly early October.

UT may now be the favorite to land #3 overall player Paolo Banchero after that earlier commitment today.

SEC is not slowing down recruiting wise.

Hodgson was actually recruiting Banchero to Alabama at some point last year, but I don't think it ever got too serious.

Saint Louis?? The Billikins haven't been a factor since Rick Majerus was there.

That is his hometown school and a lot of kids have been staying closer to home due to covid. Seems like they are a legit possibility.

It seems Lawson was committed to Oregon in 2018. Did not know that.

Maybe its just me but Arkansas and Bama are having way more recruiting "battles" than the previous years

I feel like that is because Arkansas appears to be recruiting every single player in the top 247 along with every single transfer.

Seriously though, Arkansas is mentioned with more kids than any other school it seems like. Heck of a job by Muss and staff.
