Reese or Davis I assume. Wouldn't surprise me if Reese wanted to grad transfer somewhere he would get more playing time.

He will not play this year and won’t even apply for a waiver. He plans to sit out and improve his game.

That’s true, but if we get him and Petty comes back, we’d be one over the scholarship limit wouldn’t we?
I would assume Javian would be the one to leave, but I don’t really know.

A 6-foot-10 and 230-pound big man from Dallas, Darrius Miles is banking on a decision to spend a prep year at Dallas (Texas) Lone Star Academy to be exactly what he needs to jump start his recruitment.
We first saw Miles as a freshman who had a long way to go. Since then he’s shed a lot of baby fat and completely changed his body while increasing his coordination and overall skill level. The hope is that another year to develop when he’s already been making big strides each of the last three years is exactly what he needs.
Darius Coleman, who will coach Miles at Lone Star, says the interest is starting to come in.
“Memphis, Wake Forest, St. John’s, Oregon, Alabama, Illinois, Texas, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, New Mexico State and USC,” Coleman said. “These schools have expressed heavy interest in the last few weeks.”
According to Coleman, Miles has been committed to taking things one step at a time and is now on the verge of a major breakthrough that has him looking forward to showing coaches what he can do.
“Darrius' full skillset will be shown in his (post grad) year,” Coleman said. “Ability to stretch the floor as well as be a dominant post player offensively and defensively as a shot blocker and rebounder. Also his changed body, added muscle and his increased condition level.”

Highlights are highlights, but you don’t have to watch too long to see that Sibande would have been (with Kira) our best slasher this year.
Also athletically he could more than step right in. He appears able to finish through contact at the rim better than anyone we have (not the highest bar obviously).
It would be tough work making a highlight video of us finishing through contact this year.
I don’t know that I’m offering anything new here, but he would be a relatively big catch.

Sibande Highlights
This dude definitely isn't afraid to take it to the hoop. He's aggressive as hell.

I’m all for adding another talented guard. Plus with the depth it seems like we already have, it’d be nice to have him learn the system for a year and be ready for his senior season.

Ft. Lauderdale Northeast (FL) junior Wesley Cardet displayed tons of versatility and skill last season averaging better than 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists per game for a top-ten overall team in Florida.
“I’m a an athletic combo-guard that can handle, shoot, makes plays for my teammates and lock down on defense.”
Wesley is the rare jumbo guard that shifts gears smoothly with the ball, has outstanding vision, perimeter shotmaking ability and the athleticism to finish with authority at the rim.
In watching Cardet, there’s no question he’s undervalued nationally with other publications. He’s transparent in saying that provides a certain level of motivation.
“I definitely feel undervalued. I play with a chip on my shoulder when I step on the court. I’m ready for the summer, just want to compete against the best on the AAU circuit.”
On the recruiting trail the South-Florida native holds offers from Florida, USC, Dayton, Miami, FIU, Iowa State, USF, Alabama, Clemson, FGCU and Saint Louis.
Other programs are keeping tabs, as Wesley reports interest from Maryland, N.C. State, Baylor and Rice.
Cardet is looking forward to learning more about a B10 powerhouse, as he will conduct a virtual visit with Maryland in the near future.
The talented junior has no leaders at the moment and has no timeline for cutting his list or making a commitment. What he is certain of is that team culture will play a large role in his ultimate decision.
“I want the program to feel like home, like family. How the coaches interact with the players. Those are big for me.”

Bediako remains more of a guessing game at this time. His recruitment is all over the place and while there was a feeling that, during the winter, he could make the move into the 2020 class, it seems now that he will remain in his original 2021 graduating class. In doing so, his recruitment remains wider open compared to others, though the Spartans are in a good spot which is only enhanced by his families ties to the region.

Charles Bediako, the 6-foot-11, 215-pound big from Andrews Osborne Academy in Ohio, continues to add high-major offers.
Bediako recently added offers from Michigan, Arizona State, Texas and Tennessee to go with previous offers from Duke, Louisville and Michigan State.
He has recently had virtual calls with Michigan State, Maryland, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, Tennessee and Alabama.
Despite rumblings that Bediako, ranked No. 30 in the Class of 2021 by ESPN.com, may reclass to 2020, his AAU coach says he will remain in the 2021 group.
“He plans to graduate in 2021. He will not leave in 2020,” Dwayne Washington of UPlay Canada told ZAGSBLOG. “I told every coach that already.”
Bediako was among several young Canadian stars involved in NBA All-Star festivities.
Bediako and Josh Primo, a 6-6 guard from UPlay Canada who committed to Alabama, were both invited to the prestigious Basketball Without Borders Camp in Chicago over All-Star weekend.
Dave Briski, who coaches Bediako at ISA, broke down his upside and skillset for ZAGSBLOG.
“Charles is the ideal 5 in the modern-day game because of his length and athleticism and his continually improving ability to stretch the floor,” Briski said.
“His speed is what sets him apart from other guys at his position. Once he consistently uses it in transition and in two-man actions on the perimeter, he will be in a class of his own.”

Sadly I think our chances with Bediako probably went from better than 50/50 if he reclassified to outside looking in now that he's staying in 2021.
