I agree; he should not do it that way. Oats should stick to his core principles; it will stop coaches from trying to shop their players. I don't think Trendon will go anywhere just because his high school coach will get a job. Trendon is not one of those inner city kids with no male leadership. He has a father and an older brother; he is likely to listen to them before he will make a life choice like this instead of his high school coach.
If Bucky is more qualified than Ya or he brings something else to the table that is beneficial in a way that takes some stress off of Oats, then you go with him.

Bucky just needs to be somewhere on staff. Whether or not Trendon comes to Bama is up to him. I would just like Bucky in our athletic dept

The account name is TrendonTopic_ and Trendon follows it. Someone told me it’s his “spam” account whatever that means. I don’t use Instagram much at all so I don’t understand it

I would have to believe so. The only part that worries me is Coach Oats probably didn't have any "demands" regarding facilities considering he was coming from Buffalo.

Bucky doesn't add much to the staff. Oats will prob. have his assistant from UB, Someone like Pettway and another strong recruiter for the southeast/dc area. Ideally, we can also tap into international/texas market for talent. Oats is a quats guy, so would interesting to see exactly what he goes for in a prospect.

I'm really liking this Hawkins kid, don't think I've ever seen a commit more excited to be coming to Bama. He is tweeting nonstop Bama stuff, just updated his twitter profile pic wearing all Bama gear head to toe.
