Man I hope we get Bruner. He’s a perfect fit for Oats system

Could be the Mark Jennings account reference. He’s technically a transfer

Pittsburgh transfer Trey McGowens III has now completed ‘virtual visits’ with Auburn, Arkansas, Nebraska and Ole Miss, he told @Stockrisers.

Xavier, TCU, Seton Hall and Alabama are the other four finalists.

I had him on my college fantasy basketball team for short periods of time each of the last two seasons and I'm not sure if I want him or not. Yes he is capable of exploding and getting a 24 point game 3 or 4 times a year but he is also very inconsistent. 15 of their 33 games last year he got 10 points or under.

Barring someone coming out of the blue, I don’t see Alabama landing anyone else outside of Keon Ellis, Saquan Singleton, Jordan Bruner, or Darius Miles.

Yes. Baylor and Maryland both have needs for a center, but Alabama feels like they’re in a good spot

Iowa State completed their ‘virtual visit’ with Rice transfer Trey Murphy III, he told @Stockrisers. All of the feedback i’ve gotten from transfers on these types of visits have been positive.

Despite them not actually being on campus, these virtual visits are still informative.

Any idea where Raymond Hawkins may end up?

Buffalo? Back out West?

Was gonna be an uphill battle getting any top grad transfer guards this year with Quinerly, Primo, Shack, and Herb all likely gonna be starters next season. I would rather have Keon Ellis than most of them anyway, he is a good all around player with good size and will have two years left instead of one. Singleton would be a nice addition too since he can play point guard on top of a couple of other positions.

If we get Bruner and those two on top of Primo I would be very very happy. That would be a homerun class.

I like this quote from Bruner

quote:

The chance to win is something Bruner takes as a given, if he does invest another year in college ball.

“I feel like anywhere I go, I’m going to have the opportunity to win,” he said. "There’s no school I could go to where we wouldn’t have a chance to go to the NCAA Tournament. I feel like any team I go to, I’m going to make that team good enough to win.”

Yeah Bruner, Ellis, and Singleton would be an awesome roster to start the resurrection of this program.

Plus Promo and Ambrose. Gonna wait and see who we get before I get too excited but that would be nice.

Wow so our starting lineup could be
JQ/Shack/Primo/Herb/Bruner
with Singleton/Ellis/Gary/Ambrose/Rojas off the bench

Don’t forget Darius Miles. Very good chance with him as well. I like his game better than Tradun Murphy
