I may be setting up for disappointment but I'm seeing 23ish wins and around 6 or 7 seed in tourny.

I prefer 247 composite, but figured I’d post anyway.

I predict an up and down first half of the season and strong finish to around 20-12 and sneak into NCAA field as 10 seed.

We are #17 in Jeff Goodman’s updated preseason top 25.

We add Quinerly and drop 6 spots?

Obviously LSU, Arizona, and who else? Kansas? This seems like something Louisville would be at the forefront of as well. Hopefully Auburn

Edit- I guess I could have read the article and not be a lazy sack of shite because it lists the main teams involved

If LSU doesn’t get hammered it’s gonna be hard to take the sport seriously.

We don’t know if Quinerly will be eligible. We lost Tevin Mack who we know would’ve been.

Auburn probably will get a slap on the wrist relative to other programs. AU was never implicated in any AAU / shoe company shenanigans nor ever implicated with buying recruits.

On top of that, Auburn was one of the only schools to suspend players and defer judgment/appeals to NCAA board

Ive been watching and studying the Flex Cut offense which is what Bruce and Auburn does and its an impressive offense. And what Bruce has done to take it to an even harder to guard level is he gets shooters at every position on the floor.

It's impressive when it works. It drives people bananas when it doesn't.

Bruce's version of the flex cut gives an absurd amount of freedom to players.

..... in other words, 18 YO players have a lot of freedom to play like 18 YOs

I'm not that familiar with all of Auburn's involvement in this scandal/investigation.

However, I tend to agree with you insofar as it would seem schools actively luring recruits with payments are going to be the target of the NCAA.

What seems to be one of the most telling quotes from the article: "Wilcox said only those schools involved in eligibility issues would be impacted."

I thought the last ranking update he posted didn’t include him, but maybe I’m wrong.

Yet the fricking idiot corn dogs on tRant are saying Bama is one of the 6 due to Collin but they aren’t.

What fricking drug are you on to believe that line of thinking?

The official stated it was only eligibility issues. We're one of the eligibility issue teams.

Meh, the NCAA cleared Sexton to come back after one game. We'll be fine
