Yea but what are you gonna do when you have 7 scholarship players and they are in the bonus 8 minutes in

Apparently we should cut them.

Out sick. Ended up hitting the same # of three pointers as Petty though.

Don't disagree - it's not a good matchup for us.

Wisconsin gaurd Kobe King announced he is transferring. He’s their second leading scorer. Might be a transfer target.

I thought Galin was the worst player on the roster. And then Forbes started playing a little. He’s a freshman, but he’s straight awful on both ends.

I absolutely hate Bolden’s offense, but we definitely missed him tonight.

I was really afraid of this kind of game tonight when I saw the advanced stats. A team as efficient offensively as LSU is getting a lot of good looks at high percentage shots: Most likely shots inside the paint. And they make them unlike us. So that was a really bad matchup for us. Combine that with a meh night from 3 and getting our arse handed to us again on the glass and you usually take an arse whooping. We did.

Exactly - this was predestined if we didn't make outside shots.

They were always gonna work us on the boards. The stats made that clear. It also said we'd get open looks from 3.....but we had to make them. We didn't.

Yea I'm not seeing much there. His only purpose right now would be as a shooter......and he's been the worst outside shooter on the roster.

For us to win games Petty has to play well.
Hopefully he shows up on Saturday.
Don't need a losing streak.

If Kira and Petty come back, I’d rather focus on bigs. If they don’t, we won’t make it anyways.

Could almost call Saturday a must win.

It most definitely is. But with how we've been playing, things aren't looking good. They've shown absolutely nothing the last 3 games that gives any sort of confidence heading into that game. Only thing we have going for us is it's at home.

Saturday is huge. Oats has to figure out what the deal is the last 3 games - energy, execution, focus, some of all 3.

Arkansas and Tennessee are season defining games. We pretty much have to win both.

We got dominated on the glass. At this point I hope big man is in the plans. JUCo whatever but I hope this is addressed. When Smith and Reese was on the floor together was agonizing. Javian was in foul trouble so it was a lot tonight unfortunately.

I hate thinking it but I hope Smith transfers. I just don't see d1 talent when he plays.

Also @nate_oats on bringing John Petty off the bench: “We need to get our leaders to lead. We haven’t been practicing hard enough in my opinion. So we tried to make a statement. It backfired.”

Nate via Cecil

ETA: Does that stance sound like Saban or Bryant or what? IDGAF who you are, if you don’t give maximum effort, you don’t play.
