If we win in Nashville and at home vs K State we are probably going to the Tourney boys. Getting one at LSU would pretty much seal it barring a complete fallout.

I hope we can stop the late season collapse that we’ve been accustomed to.

I’m hoping for the best, but there’s a whole bunch of games left

I don’t think we will collapse this year. Oats and Snowden have us in much better shape this year as compared to the last 4 years under Ponytail.

One thing that does worry me is Kira hitting a wall because of how many minutes he has had to play. frick you NCAA, a kid gets falsely accused by the FBI and no waiver but God Forbid Ohio State go a season without a QB.

Yeah, I noticed Saturday that Beetle spelled Kira a couple of times until he fouled out. Nate is doing what he can to keep his minutes reasonable but there’s only so much he can do without a true ball handler to sub in.

I think they'd have to adjust the offense a bit for it but I don't mind the idea of Shack and Petty running the point for a couple of minutes here and there. Neither of them can get to the basket the way Kira can but they are competent passers and know the offense.

I think Petty and Kira are gone after this year.

Petty is far more likely than Kira at this point. Kira is an athletic 2 guard playing PG who has too many off nights and doesn't shoot the 3 well enough for an NBA team to use a 1st on him. He also needs to bulk up. With his frame he may literally die going inside against NBA defenders.

That is one reason Herb has been running point so much recently. Matchups have dictated some of it, but giving Kira some in-game rest is as well.

I mind! Neither has any handle and both can be turnover machines. They're good shooters and Petty can now do most everything else on the court EXCEPT run the offense. Imo, although a big drop off, Beetle'a about the only other guy for the job.
PS- If I was the opposing team's coach and had the personnel for it, I'd post Lewis up and work him in the paint and try to get him in foul trouble early.

renovation plans this is what I find for the renovation plans, barrel roof is staying. If they do all this to Coleman it's going to be one of the nicest basketball venues around

Thanks. Looks like my info was dated. Doesn't look like they'll be rotating the court if those renderings are what they go with. It does look nice though.

Looks very bright, nice, with a home court advantage appearance.

It looks great. But it's on paper. Make it happen, dammit! The minute the whistle sounds on the last home game this season, start swinging sledgehammers!
