While Auburn loves run outs and playing transition, in the half court AUs offense is pretty slow.

When Wiley is in, it basically is a "how to we pass the ball around to get a clean entry to Wiley who will get fouled"

Isn’t everyone’s half court offense pretty slow when comparing it to run outs and transition basketball?

Agree about Bolden's shooting. And Shackelford needs to quit trying to dribble drive until he gets way better at it. At least he needs to drive and pass it off because he is terrible at trying to lay it up against defenders.

Anfernee McLemore's favorite place to play in the SEC outside of Auburn Arena? At Alabama in Tuscaloosa. "I like the look of disappointment on their faces when we win."

Nate Oats was asked about these comments Tuesday. His response: "We'll see if it's still his favorite place to play tomorrow. I had to figure out what he meant by all that. But I think I got what he meant by it now. We'll see tomorrow."

Saban Bear, unless Herb Jones is hurt, he will start for us next year. The coaches just see too much value in him. And, I think eventually he will play in the nba. He might go through the D league first, but he will get there. He needs more good weight so that he can bang a little better under the goal. All of them have things they can get better at, but you can see them improving at quickly at some of their skills. Jones had one play where he grabbed the defensive rebound and dribble the length of the court and made a perfect bounce pass to Reese for a dunk (vs KY). Petty isnt turning the ball over nearly as much. He had a play vs KY where he dribble under the basket and wrapped a pass around the KY defender for a perfect assist. Any time we can post Petty up, its almost like- count it. He has great touch on a jump hook. Kira missed every running floater he tried while driving to the basket, but I bet he is working on it every day. As much as we drive to the basket, you know they are working their buts off on that every day. As Wimp said, its either a 3 point shot or drive to the basket for us. Cal said at Buffalo, Nate Oats ran more post offense than he does at Alabama, so it might just be that he doesnt think we have a horse to ride in the lane this year.

All I want is for Auburn to have some distinct advantage over us, because it always turns out opposite. One team (Belmont?) was tops in turnovers forced. We were the most turnover team around. Script flipped. MSU. Known as great rebounders. Supposed to really bully is. Script flipped, and we dominated. Against the teams that were supposed to be weak at shooting threes against us, the three point kings... well, you know what happened there.

I hope Auburn has a huge turnover, rebounding, three point shooting, free throw shooting...ah, who am I kidding? No way that we are going to be able to shoot freebies, regardless.

Because we are pushing all of the fans to wear crimson(Which they should anyways) and I thought the team was wearing Crimson too.

Ohhh I think it’s just something the students wanted to do. I don’t think the players are wearing anything different

Me too. But I feel kind of good about our chances as well. Our guys WILL be ready and the crowd is gonna be behind them.

Oats vs. Pearl, Round 1. I get chills thinking about it

Dazon Ingram got 16 rebounds, 6 assists, and 15 points vs Tulane tonight, he is having a good year overall. We really could've used both of those guys.

I think that’s the first really good game he’s had this year. I’m glad he’s gone. He would’ve been a disaster playing for Oats bc he couldn’t even hang onto the ball playing in Avery’s slow system
