not elite

Ya, this is a very high bar.

I think the people pushing back though all agree that SO/JR season Hall made 'rim protection' a strength of any defense when he was on teh floor. Maybe not 'elite best in CBB' but it was a real positive value.

He was a solid shot blocker but

We are talking about rim protection though.

Alabama was top 50 defense in 2FG% D, high correlated w/ good rim protection, in Hall's FR - JR seasons. When Hall had a dip sR season to solid not good blocker, Bama fell to around #100

Alabama hasn't had a lot of great big men i

Which would suggest Hall's impact on 2FG defense stats I pointed out above is very real

Let's get a win tomorrow and keep the positive momentum going.

By the way Gene, I have Wiley on my college fantasy basketball team, he is really playing well lately. I wish he was getting more minutes, seems most games he only gets around 20, but he is still putting up really good statlines.
I have Jvon McCormick too, he is kinda streaky but has had some good games.

What’s KenPom project for our game and for the LSU/Liberty game?

Hall might have blocked a shot or 2 each game, but IMO, he did not play good defense. He didnt use his body or his feet very well in post defense. He would let big men back him down low, hoping to block a shot, which usually didnt happen. He was a pretty good re-bounder though.

Alabama held opponents to a low scoring average because we held the ball until the last second to shoot. It wasnt because we played great defense. Doing that does usually lead to low scoring and fairly close games, though.

Bama now at -6.5. I think win big. They’ve struggled with the two SEC teams they’ve played and they just lost by 15 to Radford.

Richmond coming off a loss, Bama playing well for going on a month, SEC starting to open up a little, fanbase starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel..................

We're absolutely losing this game

He is definitely improving. I am interested to see how he fares against bigger, more athletic SEC post players though rather than outclassed mid major Players.

Wileys play style and effort on both sides of the floor is extremely hard to maintain effectiveness when playing >20mpg

Very disappointing season for him. He should be performing significantly better than his play

You know when guys make great plays only to brick the shot? That's what JVon is up to

Oats said everyone is available to play tonight. Should be the healthiest we have been this year.

Frustrating to see a good play design to open the game, but Kira can't finish.
