Good god you’ll never let go of the fact you got clowned for saying “Milroe didn’t trust his receivers” for why he couldn’t throw a route unless the guy was five yards open

Just let it go man

In the end this was Saban's fault. He's the one that checked off on signing Milroe then Ty. He is also the one that hired BOB and his idiot buddy which started our implosion at OL and QB development.

Ty QB’d a tiny private HS in Tennessee. It was a coin flip how he would turn out.

He was the October favorite to go #1 overall...then the bottom completely fell out. The QB that played at Georgia was a first rounder...but man, he's put some bad film out there the past couple of months.

He can't return to Bama after this.

My projection...Ty leaves, KR wins the job in the spring, Mack likely transfers and we need to get a serviceable veteran #2 QB out of the portal instead of relying on a true freshman backup.

So sick of the " He beat Georgia twice!" He won't beat Kirby again. Deboer is soft and so is his offense. At least 2-3 more years of his weak post game press conferences after getting pummeled. Dubose was the last coach to lose by 35. Funny ho2 close their names are. Not funny that he will be our coach again next year. He is 19-8. That sucks. We didn't hire him to go 9-3

Best case scenario.

Dummies were claiming Milroe was blackmailing the literal greatest coach of all time

I was one of the few with you that wasn’t buying that rumor. I thought Milroe was the best option we had that season. Now last season, there were some games I felt like Ty would’ve given us a better chance. Oklahoma and Michigan games come to mind. Deboer has been too slow to make a QB change in both seasons. Doesn’t even have to be a permanent change. Sometimes the backup can give an offense a spark. Tua vs UGA. Spurrier used to pull quarterbacks mid game all the time and he’s considered one of, if not the best offensive mind in college football history. I think it’s almost a crime that Mack and/or Russell didn’t receive more playing time. I’d have benched Simpson when he slid one yard shy of a first down. That was probably the biggest momentum shift of the game.

His film really hasn’t been bad the past two months. Injury caused some issues with placement for a month but otherwise the tape looks the same. The last month has been similar to the first month

Main reason he hasn’t dropped on any major mocks much

Agreed. As much as Milroe frustrated me, he could throw the deep ball

Ty’s beaten up and his head is messed up and I don’t think the latter is going to improve in Tuscaloosa. He deserves the same respect moving forward as anyone who’s played, worked, competed and bled while wearing the Crimson, but he needs to move on.

Call me a Ty glazer, but his issues are mostly symptomatic of deeper offensive issues, imo: OL and OC.

2 exceptions:
1. The mental toughness criticism is fair
2. He’s had obvious mistakes, like tonight’s feet-first slide and costly fumble

His successor will have the same issues if root causes aren’t addressed (OL and OC). He will go to the NFL and have success, I believe.

Also is this a recent eval or from midseason.

They put it on the TV tonight. I suppose it’s recent. His numbers ain’t bad.
3,500 yards 28 TD 5 Int. I’ve made it pretty clear that I don’t think he’s the best quarterback on his team, but he can be effective if the players around him are solid. Someone is going to draft him in the top 3 rounds. I don’t think he’s first round, but it’s possible he’ll go round 2. I think rounds 2-4 is where he’ll go

Nah give me a second year starter any day over breaking in a new guy.
So by this logic, Y2 Milroe > Y1 Bryce?

Hope Ty goes to the NFL or if not, he should transfer. The current OC is a F joke at best. You couldn't tell the difference when #10 replace #15. The OL couldn't block them. We threw that same DA lateral pass to slow #4 for two yards over and over. We keep sending receivers on 30 yard routes and neither QB didn't have the time to throw to any of them. The other teams DC have seen these plays so much they just wait until our receivers get to them betting they will sack the QB 1st.

Grubb is a turd. I would love to be a fly on the wall when NIck is talking ball with the crew regarding what is the problem at Bama.

They fired his arse at Seattle for a reason!

You mean like San Fran taking that fraud QB from North Dakota State in the top 10?

Stick to your day job Sport.

Lol, sure grandpa. BP was the last player taken in the draft. We’re talking about 1st round. Lol.

Oh you mean Trey Lance? Well was he projected 1st round? No he was not.

When you’re talking Miller or Jeremiah, not really. They mostly just echo front office takes

You don't know that he won't be kirby again. You make lot of assumptions that deboer won't ever win anything meaningful where my point was what is acceptable? Are we talking mark richt or Saban. Where do we currently draw the line for success in the current climate?

So far in two years deboer has made the playoffs once and won one playoff game. Made it to the sec championship game and had a top 3 recruiting class. So by what measure do we judge here?

Yeah I wonder how up to date that is?
Yeah he has some good film but also some really bad. The one throw in Norman where Germie caught if off the DB’s back was ugly and Ty got lucky.
I think they will play up the injured elbow hard to push off on his bad film.
At the EOD, I say day 3 or day 4.
