I’m optimistic, Tua had the same procedure last year and had less time to recover than he’ll have now before the LSU game and still played well (and outran their defense on one leg).
That was the mcl sprain.

I agree. I legit didn’t know anything had happened because Tua ran another play and then suddenly Mac was in and for a minute I thought we were running some kind of weird wrinkle.
But then no, Tua is in the tent, our pets heads are falling off, and we got Mac for the rest of the game

nowhere near as bad as last year where he had to be carried off the field and they were bringing the cart out.
In the SECCG last year he suffered the high ankle sprain that required surgery on the first series of the game. They brought the cart out in the 4th quarter when the offensive lineman stepped on his foot.

From Sauce
“ Tua will begin his physical therapy tomorrow and is ahead of schedule..”
Insert deer antlers spray and stem cells.

Which means the swelling is down, which according to available info., is usually 4-5 days, 2 days ahead of schedule.

He can still do physical therapy without putting weight on it including the zero gravity treadmill.
Per the doctor who performs this, he has to do 15 single-leg hops before he can practice. Which he did on day 10 last year.

Tua is the best QB in the country when 100%. With the WRs and RBs around he only needs to be 80% to take us to the CFB playoffs. Just saying

I just remember tua saying he didn’t feel right till May. Obviously he had several issues and not just one injury. But still it would suck if we truly never saw him like his best again

He won’t be 100% but hopefully somewhere around 75-90%. Beat LSU. Play MAC until Auburn or he’s 100%.

Some bozo just posted Tua was out 6 weeks on the SEC Rant claiming he had a source.
Posted on 10/22/19 at 7:51 pm to antibarner
Yeah, that bozo was trolling. They should give him the banhammer
Posted on 10/22/19 at 7:51 pm to antibarner
The campaign on twitter and elsewhere has been ridiculous for this. So much counter intel going on.
Posted on 10/22/19 at 7:54 pm to CrimsonBoz
If that were the case they might as well have skipped the surgery.

Yeah they wouldn't have had the surgery and he would have just played through it.
