Thanks for the response. I understand now the source of the vitriol behind your opposition to him. It seemed inordinate. Just speaking in general, any slackness in care for US vets is tragic and irresponsible. For those like you who are directly affected it can be an understandable source of bitterness. I hope your Dad has eventually been able to get the care he needs. The way you’ve talked about him from time to time, he seems to be “operational”.

Did you read literally anything I said? I don’t support him, I don’t live in the state that he is elected. I met him at an airport leaving DC where I was lobbying for an entity that probably produces more jobs and income in the state of Alabama than anything else. I may be a low IQ idiot, but I can certainly read and understand the text that I’ve read. I can also put my political differences aside if it impedes my ability to look at someone’s true character and who we are. So if you’ve ever taken advice from a low IQ idiot, let it be this: try to read and comprehend before lashing out, and don’t judge someone by the box they check on a ballot. I’ll even let you in on a secret I learned while being there; those people don’t hate each other as bad a they make us all hate each other.
