They aren't really West Coast guys. They're Dakotas guys.

Okay so now we want to get into semantics of where they're from when I've posted information that these guys have cut their teeth in either the Pac 12 or the Pac 12 geographic region.

I mean, I don't really care either way, but these guys had no P12 connection until 12 months ago. I don't think region has a ton to do with it. Most of the modern offensive stuff came out of Texas High School football and/or Mike Leach.
Tons of great football and schematics out West, so any "der der they don't play real football" talk is obviously silly. The 3 best OCs of the Saban era came from the West (McElwain, Kiffin, Sark).

Go back and read the comments when the Grubb story broke. Furthermore, these guys on this board shitted on me for talking up UW's offense during the season but now since Saban is interviewing Grubb they now claim UW's offense is awesome. I'm not talking about you unless you're one of those guys.

Anyone who thinks what Washington does wouldn't work across the country is being silly. Grubb would be an A+ hire.

Bro, read the comments. I remember people said I was crazy for saying UW's WRs were coached better than ours LOL

I didn't say nobody said it I said they were silly if they did say it.

Really wish we had a greater sample size (longer tenure) with Daboll as OC with Tua at QB. Daboll is Canadian. IDGAF where they are from, score points. Make their arse quit. WIN

Grubb would be a home run hire. We need to keep our fingers crossed on this matter.

I have agreed with several of your takes, but because you want to make everything about yourself no one wants to listen, even if you’re right. You deserve the hostility you are encountering. Just talk about the subject, not yourself, and you will be much better received.

If he transfers here we will lose Ty and Milroe.
So you're saying they're both pussies and would be scared of the competition? Then let them leave.

Saban will likely have the Ty/Milroe competition go into the first game of the season.
Then we'll be in trouble anyway. Some of us actually saw the aTm game.

Plus, taking a transfer in to start at QB makes it hard to recruit HS QBs. They lose faith in the chance to start as a freshman or sophomore. We’d likely lose Sayin too. I’d rather have those three than a beat up transfer who’s only real competition ever was one game against OSU 2 years ago.
Some of us were actually watching Alabama football back when we brought in a transfer from FSU. That guy wasn't guaranteed anything, and neither would Penix. And I seem to recall that guy did ok. You may not have been watching back then. And as far as it being harder to recruit HS QBs, I think the next three guys that started QB at Bama were pretty good.

You don't know the difference between players being schemed open and players being superior lyrics talented or coached.
In a year or two you guys will finally realize why I was so down on Bill O'Brien from the start.

In the era of free for all transfers and NIL this wouldn’t make them pussies it would make them a normal football player.

1. That would be like saying “so of us saw Mac play in the Iron Bowl and throw 2 picks so he sucks.” Guys do develop and get better after their first start.
2. As bad as the turnovers were Milroe had flashes of brilliance in that game. He also had a play caller that had no idea how to use him.

None of this matters. It was all before “unlimited” transfers and NIL.

Where?! I just went all the way back to page 11 where it broke and not a single person has said one bad thing about Grubb. Did you mistakenly associate the jokes about Applewhite and Kellen Moore to Grubb?

It’s impossible to have a stickied coordinator thread without a bunch of dudes acting like high school girls with their internet drama in here.
