Main reason watford went to Indiana was bc of Mike Davis. That man recruited Alabama better than he did Indiana. That's why he got fired.

Trendon Watford openly cheers for Alabama on Twitter when they play. I feel like we have a very good chance to land him.

I think it's between Alabama and Kentucky. Alabama has to prove we can have success next year or we're not gonna get him.

Off topic: Because I am a vindictive bastard, I hope Indiana fires their coach and hires Gregg Marshall. The shockers have one of the most arrogant fan bases that I have ever seen. I read their forum when we were looking for a coach, and those guys were cocky as hell.

Yeah I read it too when we were expected to have a shot at him and they wouldn't even have a discussion about it. I made an account and just simply asked a question about it and they banned me. They banned so many Bama fans from that site. I think their fans are possibly the most arrogant in college basketball.

Anyone going to the SECT?
Went last year and will probably go again this year since Nashville is just a hop and skip away.. Hopefully a decent Alabama team shows up and at least make it to the weekend.

For basketball or football? Since I followed him to start BBall season I haven't seen anything "open" for any program
Indiana definitely will be a factor in his recruitment though. Especially if they replace Crean with a quality coach

I saw him cheer a lot last year for Alabama football but that's it. I also think he hates Auburn in football. He posted something last year making fun of them. It may or may not mean anything when it comes to his mindset on basketball

AUs only real chance is if we can develop one of our stretch 4s to the NBA as a selling pitch. Honestly I think he goes OOS

Only if he fails miserably and gets fired in 4 years. If Shocker fans are arrogant, they got it honest from their prick of a coach. Marshall is good, but we don't really know how good because he's too damn arrogant to leave his worshipers in Wichita to take a real job in a real conference where he might get tested regularly. I hope he does go to IU. They deserve each other: that fan base and Marshall. I don't know who will piss off who first or worse.

Easy as frick.
I went to 3 of the sessions and paid about you $15 for each ticket for middle seats and ended up moving down during maybe 5 minutes into the 1st half. Things don't really get to fill up until UK gets playing.

We just have to hope and pray he's not the only one who can score. Petty should be able to but I'm a little nervous that this could become another Obasohan situation where all the players on our team just stand there and throw him the ball and depend on him to score. Bc once a team shuts that down, you have to have another scoring option. We didn't have another option besides Obasohan, hopefully we'll have a few options next year and that won't be a problem.
