They gave Curry a ton of leeway and time to build the program. She didn't make the NCAA tournament until year 8. The patience has paid off.

Alabama's Sarah Ashlee Barker and Aaliyah Nye have been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-America team, the league announced Thursday.

With the recognition, the two become the seventh and eighth players in program history to earn All-America accolades. Barker and Nye are the first Crimson Tide players to earn All-America honors in the same season, and the first to earn the recognition since Dominique Canty (1999).

Zaay Green went in the 3rd round to the Mystics. 3 total picks, one in each round, that’s a pretty awesome night for the WBB team! Roll Tide ladies!
