Disappointing way to end, but Fouts gave all she had. Lexi not being able to go was a major hit to our postseason chances. Hitting also needs some serious work this off-season.

Something should definitely change but it won't. Murph isn't going anywhere unless he resigns or retires. He's teflon in Tuscaloosa. He's gonna coast along slowly destroying the quality of the program he built until he retires.

Has anybody watched the Oklahoma team lately? Their players are bigger, stronger, more athletic throughout the entire lineup, and like Tennessee's baseball team, they intimidate their opponents!
Even without an off-speed pitch, Fouts is the difference between Alabama being a top-3 SEC team, and a 7th-10th place SEC club.
Murphy ain't going anywhere anytime soon, so let's hope he's struck with an epiphany SOON regarding the path college softball is and has taken.

If my daughter was a Blue Chip pitcher, I wouldn't let her anywhere near Murphy and that bunch. They kill pitchers and hitters!

How is our strength and conditioning programs? Idk if it’s just me but our girls look so much weaker/smaller than other teams.

If our baseball team has the success our SB does ( regional, super regionals , SEC Ships , National champs, National seeds every year) you guys would want a statue built of the coach

Murph is a top recruiter not a top coach. And he hasn't done that really all that well the past couple of years.

People talking about Murphy making changes to his staff and how he builds a team are lying to themselves. He's so set in his ways at this point that I don't even think he could competently make the necessary changes even if he wanted to, which he doesn’t. He won a championship a decade ago after all. Why bother trying to be innovative after you've figured it all out?

At this point being a top recruiter is questionable. Or just maybe, our players cannot overcome the ineptness of Murphy and the current staff.

Look at some of the pinch hitters he trotted out today and you tell me about our conditioning program.
