Isaac Jones entered the portal yesterday. 6'9" 19.7 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 1.1 BPG, and 32% from three (albeit on a very small volume).
Seems about as perfect a fit as we could ask for of what's left in the portal.

Aaron Estrada - 5th year Senior
Latrell Wrightsell Jr - Senior
Jaykwon Walton - 5th year Senior
Oats getting a ton of experience in the building for the 23-24 season with one open scholarship spot remaining.

Solid bench piece. Happy to have him

A lot of seniors on next years team. A LOT!!

For the most part, winning in March comes down to having a lot of guards that can go 1 on 1 to get buckets. Looks like we’re continuing to address that.

With one spot left, what does that means for Sears and Q?

What do you mean? The one spot left is after JQ and Sears are included

Freddy Hicks to Arkansas State. Very nice pickup for Hodgson.

Hodgson is an animal on the trail. I hope his actual coaching will match the talent he’s acquiring.
I don’t know if it’s coincidental or not but it seems like Preston Murphy follows all the guys we are recruiting / just committed on Twitter.

Auburn is recruiting them both and they both are planning to visit, but remember what we talked about one week ago: Auburn may very well have their sights set on target(s) that haven’t entered in the transfer portal yet. That appears to be the case and has been the case for a while now.
quote:
While Cleveland and Tyson are good players, sources continue to indicate there’s interest in seeing who else enters the transfer portal for that three position. Meaning, the focus isn’t completely on Cleveland and Tyson right now. The belief is that Auburn will know in the coming days whether or not their potential target(s) will enter the transfer portal. This situation isn’t expected to linger. If Auburn’s potential target(s) enters the transfer portal, they’ll likely go after said player(s).
This is Hokansons latest article…..isnt this basically admitting Auburn is Tampering?

Lol. That's exactly what it is.

Hard to overstate how big the last 3 weeks has been in terms of the next stage of the program under Oats. Lost his entire coaching staff and needed to hit on some high level transfer guys who fit the program and he nailed both with flying colors.
Guy just works his arse off.

Alright, Jorge. Tell me about this Erik Estrada kid. Let the chips fall where they may. Looking at his tape, he seems to me like another Quinnerly, a lot of finesse play and a low scoop style shot at the basket. This I don’t know if he will be able to succeed against physical defensive play.
What are you seeing that encourages you?
