Just in time for Gonzaga hopefully

Until the inevitable injuries and kidnappings deplete it, this is such a deep roster.
If guys like Clowney and Griffen are ready to contribute, that's a 10-11 deep roster of mostly interchangeable and positionless parts.
The good news is that if Clowney and Griffen are more ready to play than we may have anticipated, it makes the inevitable Alabama basketball offseason nonsense potentially less devastating.

Sears was shooting lights out today. He's extremely fast and quick with great Court vision and handle but based on what I saw today, listing him at 6'1" is extremely generous. He can probably play the two against some teams but there'll be others where he simply can't unless he's good enough to force them to adjust.

Is there any way we get the full box score? I'd love to see shooting percentages rebounds and assists.

Never mind I see the answer to my own question

The league has produced 33 draft picks in the last three years alone, including 18 first-rounders and eight lottery picks. It doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon either as nearly 40 percent of the five-star prospects from the 2022 class are en route to SEC programs.

#BasketballConference
Kidding aside, I'd love to see the percentage of draft picks for different conferences, and see how the SEC compares. Then, i wonder how many of those draft picks are just Kentucky. Then, see the same info several years later, and see how much the other schools have improved and Kentucky drops (as the other SEC teams have gotten better and landed talent that might've normally gone to a blue blood.
But one things for sure, seeing all of those schools several years ago, make big name, high priced hires, had paid dividends. The SEC is so much better than in the past, from top to bottom.

Devin Royal, the No. 76 overall prospect in the 2023 class, will announce his college decision on Wednesday at 2:30 PM ET.
Final three: Alabama, Michigan State and Ohio State.

Do we have any idea what our class is going to end up looking like yet? Gurley, Welch, Quinerly, and Miller are the only ones that are 100% gone, so with the holdover scholarship that gives us at least 5 to work with.

Y’all did Oats say we were playing the Chinese National Team in one of these games…..holy frick. Even our summer exhibition games are tough

They are good! I know one of their guards is super skilled. Their guards in general though are very active on both ends of the floor.
This game right here should be streamed.

I'm assuming Ohio State for Royal?
Posted on 8/1/22 at 1:10 pm to mistaken4193
Supposedly the Chinese national team has a 7’1” big man that will give our inside guys a workout. Wonder why the Lithuania B team? Does B team there mean second unit like here? And Spanish select? Is “select” good players or just select some hoopers around Barcelona? Guess we will find out.

Well said, but he really didn't take that many shots — extremely quick (and short
Don't know how much has been said about Miller, but he was the best player on the court by a wide margin. Cold-as-ice shooter from three and mid-range. Had three blocks from what I can remember, two of which were back-to-back against Miles (on the glass) that brought the house down. One didn't count on a shot clock violation, but he blocked Sears' three point attempt right after the buzzer anyway. From what I heard, this was not an anomaly, either. He's supposedly been lighting it up in practice, and may be a really, really special player.
Was interested to see Bradley and Sears go at it, but Bradley was still a little green off the injury. Looked silky smooth in whatever he was doing though.
Similar with Burnett, who also flashed at times. He would've been a game changer last year.
Griffen stood out here and there and played very aggressively.
Speaking of aggressive, just my personal opinion, but I think Heard might be that "Rojas" guy off the bench that we can bring in to irritate the hell out of the opponent while creating some solid minutes/fouls.
Bediako (who was wearing Frenchie's jersey for some reason) looked a bit rattled to me and got a one-on-one talk from Q early on, off to the side. Bediako went down on the floor late, so I don't know if he is banged up or just frustrated.
Freddie Dilione showed up during the scrimmage and watched most of it with his family, except when the strength coach looked to take him briefly to the weight room.

To add to this, as has been mentioned here, this could be a really exciting team to watch and the potential is certainly there, assuming they can play consistently.
One concern I'd have at this point is our top-end length against a team with a dominant big. At several points Miles ended up playing a hybrid/floating 4 position (and sometimes a 5) because we just don't have the presence underneath. If he is our best bet at assuming a power forward role, that might be an issue against certain teams.
All this to say though, if we can replicate the 4Q (Euro rules) of that scrimmage, which I think equated to about a 140-point game, it's very possible that we can just outscore teams in this scenario, or at least hope to.
And as someone pointed out, Miller was on the losing side, which makes that 90+ points all the more impressive offensively, IMO.

No radio also makes me think this is Oats decision not to stream. Kinda disappointing.
Posted on 8/1/22 at 6:39 pm to mistaken4193
I think Nate Oats wants it exactly like this. He probably could of got these games streamed but chose not too.
I think Coach would of came forth and said we will have these games streamed or broadcast a long time ago, but we haven't heard anything like that from him.
He probably has his reasons!

Everybody else is getting broadcast. We would have at least been on SECNetwork+ if he wanted us too
