Boise State transfer Emmanuel Akot talks transfer process, nearing decision

So nobody has any idea where he might actually transfer?

Guy on BOL says per his people that Akot isn't happening.

The roster on rolltide dot com has been updated. Not sure if that’s their way of saying we are done or not. I hope not.

Summer enrollees just moved in to their dorms didn't they? That might be why they updated.

Still like our chances in Birmingham

I will believe a win in Birmingham when i see it. They should have kept a game in Huntsville where we are undefeated. Yes I know the level of competition isn't the same between those games

Theres no way they leave that last roster spot unfilled... Especially with JQ doubtful until conference play.

How tragic.

Alabama basketball meant 'the world' to late manager Charlie Wilson
quote:

While in Pensacola, Fla., for his grandmother’s funeral, Wilson suffered a seizure, a health issue he has dealt with since the second grade and has increased in frequency and severity since he enrolled at Alabama.

Alabama's Dom Welch to wear No. 10 next season to honor victims from Buffalo shooting

In honor of the 10 victims who lost their lives in last month’s mass shooting at a Tops supermarket in Buffalo, Dominick Welch, a Buffalo native and incoming grad transfer, will wear No. 10 for the Alabama men’s basketball this upcoming season, the basketball program announced.

Welch isn’t the only member of the Crimson Tide with ties to Buffalo, however, as head coach Nate Oats began his head coaching career at the University of Buffalo, where he was named MAC Coach of the Year in 2018 and 2019 before taking over as Alabama’s headman.

Welch transferred into the program last month after spending four years with the program. During his final season with the Bonnies, Welch averaged 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists during the 2021-22 season. He also shot 41.4% from the field and 37.4% from three-point range.

With the addition of Welch, Alabama has formed a seven-man recruiting class in 2022. From the high school ranks, the Tide have landed commitments from five-star forward Brandon Miller, four-star guards Jaden Bradley and Rylan Griffen, and four-star PF Noah Clowney, not to mention former JUCO star forward Nick Pringle and Ohio point guard transfer Mark Sears.

Chuck wore 10 last year and wore 14 in HS. Keon wore 14 last year, so maybe Chuck will be 14 this year.

It's ok. We've been informed that they won't be very good next season.
