no sense in assuming these things. Be pretty crappy if it wasn't someone pointed out.

If we have facts, it's a different story.

It’s the off season. People need something to discuss. Since the topic was brought up by Oats, I think the discussion is warranted

Definitely think Shack was one of them. It was no secret his dad wanted him doing more.

My favorite beer is IPAcopalyspe Now from Singing River Brewery in Florence Alabama. Also Seers is from the Shoals area.

That's right on point.

Jaden Bradley is a high IQ guy on the court and he's very crafty.
Brandon Miller is a different type sandwich because he can be both the best offensive & defensive player in the conference that's the tools he has.

Sure putting a lot of expectations on FR.

Thought we might have learned from the past.

But what the NBA wanted to see was him being a more of a facilitator. He really was most effective as a spot up shooter. But there's a ton of guys that can shoot. At his size, he needed to take on more of a PG role.

But that's still not in his skill set yet. Him going to play overseas can probably help him continue to develop more. Because right now, there's no demand for a 6'3" shoot first guard with average athleticism.

Shack could make good money overseas, but I hope he has graduated or is at least close to it. The NBA is the only place you can make enough money to not need a job after basketball is over. I think he and JD have both been getting some pretty bad career advice.

Yep. Just curious, and I'm sure there are many who wouldnt like this, but is there any chance JD would come back to school? I know there was an article that said he was done with school. But honestly it seems like his best move would be to go back to school and work on his game.

If he has hired an agent it hasn't been publicized, so presumably he could come back. You'd think that if those conversations had happened between him and the staff that Oats would have mentioned it though. I mean you almost have to assume that some NBA team really likes him and gave him an immediate guarantee after he declared. Otherwise a healthy, projected 2nd round pick declining to participate in 5v5 at the combine is just a truly bizarre move. Especially when the player in question has given no indication that returning to college is a possibility.

What are you talking about?

Brandon Miller has tools! If those tools are developed properly he could be the best two way player in the conference that's my opinion.

I'm not putting any expectations on anybody...just giving my opinion on why they put tools by Brandon Miller's name.

Miller could be the best O and D player in the league? No expectations there.

Thought we might have learned from JD and Alex T.

On the other hand they could be more like Sexton. A lot of freshmen across the country are ready right away. They are rated highly and could hit the ground running despite how JD looked.

If you asked me to name a school that I particularly dislike despite them having no real competitive history or rivalry with Alabama in anything, Baylor would probably be it. Between Dave Bliss, Art Briles, Waco being an ugly shite heap with no real redeeming features, the fact that I find Scott Drew to be Cal with a shitty combover and none of the charm, and their frequent use of their little army of politically connected law school alumni to influence decisions behind the scenes I just find them to be pretty awful.

I'd love that but I don't recall many freshmen that came in ready to roll like Collin. He just had that fire and he knew he could take the ball to the rack against anyone. He came in with Mamba Mentality. These kids nowadays have tiktok mentality.
