If he was wide open on a break… the pnr was never efficient, it worked sometimes but was never consistent. Neither of those guys could break down a zone with the entry pass. Both of those guys are score first/kick out type guards.

Post moves are for isolation scoring from a big, not necessarily the pass down low to put them in scoring position or give him an opportunity to pass to the weak side when a help defender rotates

After the high from our last spot being filled wears off it’s gonna be a looooong summer as far as bball news is concerned. Fun being back home from college for the first time tho, everybody back in town and what not

I expect miller to be fine... Projected lottery picks that are 6'9 and shoot well are usually tough to defend... But id agree that bradley could end up being more valuable than any of the newcomers

I don’t know. After June 1, we may try to fill our last spot from guys pulling out of the draft, and the team will have reported to campus, and workout reports will be coming in. In July our ‘23 prospects will be in summer camps, and we will be making new discoveries and making offers. Then in early August we have our Europe trip. Would love to see some of the summer scrimmages.

Of course, that’s why I was saying after the high from filling that spot dies down it’s going to be pretty dead until the euro trip in August. We’ll get a few practice clips from the bleachers if we’re lucky but no real content, just speculation and discourse.

Boise State transfer Emmanuel Akot is one of the more intriguing players left in the portal.

Still remains draft eligible but recently took a visit to Mississipi St. Has also received interest from Kansas St, USC, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech & more.

I would think if we were truly in on him, that we would be more worthy of a mention than a program that is 34-58 the last three seasons.

Well Howard at Michigan turned down interest from the Lakers. You know Oats name would be mentioned if that opening occurs

Eventually he will pull a gun on someone in the post-game handshake line and get suspended for a whole season.

Brandon Miller just needs to hit the weight room hard because in all honesty that's going to be his biggest issue in college.

He’ll get bigger. Calories will be tracked and he’ll be lifting in the early off-season. Very difficult/next to impossible to put on weight when practices start though . Gonna have to eat a LOT of food just to maintain in a high cardio sport like basketball. Caloric Surplus is not easy in D1 hoops. Especially with our style of play.

The skillset that he has to go with that height and wingspan is what makes him a borderline NBA prospect...
