Jaden Bradley isn’t the higher-ranked of Alabama’s two incoming five-star freshman — that’s Brandon Miller, the 6-8 forward 10 spots ahead of him in the consensus top 100 — but the 6-3 guard might have the more impactful opportunity before him. There are plenty of backcourt minutes to be had, given the departures of JD Davison, Jaden Shackelford and Keon Ellis. In Nate Oats’ system, there’s also always a spot for a physical, pass-first point guard who can push the pace offensively and defensively. Bradley appears to have that toolset. Jahvon Quinerly returning is fine, but he’s hardly the picture of efficiency. Alabama surely needs Bradley to be a factor from the jump … and it might benefit from him running the operation from Day 1. — Brian Hamilton

Sounds like Oats needs us to step up or at the very least do better.

After Saban yesterday and Jimbo today, we’re going to need Nate to stay away from microphones for about a week.

Haha. What next? Coach Bo saying Arkansas only wins because of the lottery?

Which one of y'all put this in Shackelford's wiki page?

Woke up this morning feeling chipper about Dom Welch shooting corner 3s
From his shooting chart, it looks like he shoots more 45 degree or so 3's than corner or straight on 3's. He can shoot them all though. Some have knocked his at the basket pecentage of about 57%, but what was our team percentage, or Bediako's percentage in there? Those are not all dunks. Big guys block lots of shots in there.

Technically he has had 2 bad shooting seasons and one really, really good one that was probably the real outlier since he's a mediocre FT shooter. But he is surprisingly efficient around the rim for a player his size. Most small guards really struggle inside the paint and he has made over 50% of his 2pt attempts the last two years.

Outside of Brandon Miller (whom I think is the obvious choice for the first x factor) who do y’all think is the biggest x-factor and we’re going to be dependent of for a good performance most nights to win?
I would think Bediako or Sears, but I’m curious what y’all think

Bediako. Sears’ shot will be a measuring stick for us game to game, if his shot is falling our chances of winning that game rise exponentially just by the spacing that will or won’t provide.
