We've come a long way in two years.
"This 4 star is better than that 4 star."
"Will that 5 star be happy coming off the bench"
Can't wait to run through the SEC again and get to the final 4 this time.

I am sure some will complain about Nimari Burnett's Texas Tech stats if he commits.
This sweet 16 run has spoiled us.

Only maybe Mistaken thinks this was a bad pickup.
I think for NEXT YEAR it’s a bad pickup because I’m of the opinion we need to go all in for next season and I think we could have found a better big for 1 year in the portal.
I think years 2-4 he will be a very very solid player.

I'd still put Michigan over Houston

Not related to what you said about Michigan, they were legit and will be again next year, but I hope we don't hear the talk about how good the big 10 is again all year next year. They got exposed big time in the tournament. In reality they were probably the 4th best conference this season.

A few people in here have said things like they aren't high on Bediako today.
If he can work the glass on both ends and contribute some points, I'm tickled to death to get him. We needed an inside force on both ends of the court so I'm happy.

Amen, Riley was killing us towards the end of regulation in that UCLA game and Bediako would've shut him down. A guy like Bediako is great to have on the roster, if we had him this year we probably would've made the final 4 at the minimum.

Our fans have come all the way from thinking Carl Engstrom would contribute, to thinking borderline 5* Bediako won't.

Given the defensive upside of Davison and Tchikou, imagine trying to score on a JD/Primo/Ellis/Gary/Tchikou lineup.
Is it November yet?

I don't know what to expect out of Tchikou or Bediako. I could see both being behind KAH next year. But I do expect Darius Miles to improve. If he becomes a smarter player, he will be on the court a lot.

If he's good enough to start for FOUR years but not to leave early for the draft, we aren't getting what we hope.
The hope is that he develops well enough to be here 2 years. He's not ready to be a one and done.
The only elite college players that stay 4 years, are guys like Garza from Iowa. The position they're best suited to play doesn't really exist like it did in the past. Slower, traditional centers just aren't used like they were 10-20 years ago. And with our playing style, we aren't going to recruit those types of guys.

Every year they overrate the B1G, they just went above and beyond this year. I’ll be curious to see if the PAC12 gets in the conversation seeing their tournament performance.

They should be.

If we can stay top 20 defensively with the improvement we should make on offense next year we have a chance to be a special team.
