Cant wait for Holt to not do shite all season until they play us…….where he will of course have the best game of his career
He's a lot better player than most of our fans realize. Don't be surprised when he puts up solid numbers for the year.

I think his numbers will increase dramatically because I’m not sure Georgia has more than 7 or 8 guys right now. Good luck to him, but I think he’s better suited for the mid major level.

I was a Holt advocate all season until the TikTok situation. I thought he played hard and great defense. I think his shot will come too with more playing time(similar to Jaylen Forbes)

I don't really know anything about the suspension or tiktok. But, I think Holt would have grown into a very good contributer for us. Unlike, Gary, who we all liked, Holt's game actually fit what we do. I know he didn't shoot well, but he was a freshman, and did everything on the defensive end about as well as anyone we have returning.

I think getting suspended and not taking it seriously is probably why Holt was run off. Maybe we replace him with more than just a warm body, but I agree that he could be a useful role player for a good team if his shot ever comes around. Of course, if it doesn't he's a waste of a scholarship.

Gary did fit in his role which was a rim runner/glass cleaner.
Those were the reasons why he took minutes in 2020-2021 season because he was BLUE COLLAR GARY just a natural born glue guy.
He blocked shots, rebounded, and scored off breakdowns. That's his DNA and every team needs a GLUE GUY!
The injury isn't what caused it...

He wasn't run off!
He will be a lot better than we think though once he's extremely confident at this level offensively

Bro, he was 100% encouraged to look elsewhere

I believe most of the guys that have transferred, were encouraged by our staff. I don’t believe it was all related on their fit in our system either. I believe we had some “bad eggs”

I love Gary and whatever. But I hate losing Holt. Though I think we could come out *ahead. That’s still in the air though.

I'd rather have Gary and Holt than the majority of the small school transfers
I like Sears, but agree on the others who have visited or have been listed as prospects lately. I thought Ambrose Hilton had potential too. We’ve recruited well this year, and I’m sure the coaches will fill the missing pieces with good players.

There were games where Gary played really good but in those games he DID NOT just hang around the perimeter all game.
If he was BLUE COLLAR GARY like last season we wouldn't be sitting here discussing why he regressed or why he transferred.
Lol do you really think Gary's move to the perimeter was a choice that he made without the coaches' influence and approval. C'mon man...

Yeah I don't think there was any kind of conscious decision on Gary's part to freelance out on the perimeter. They needed him to try to be more of a floor spacer because we were struggling to put lineups on the floor that had more than a couple of guys who could attack a defense from the perimeter. It just didn't work out because that isn't his game, but with Bediako and Pringle on the roster next year Gary's skill set is rendered increasingly redundant on our roster.

So what would our lineup be if the season started today?
Q
Bradley
Burnett
Miller
Bediako?
That’s a pretty young 5.
