If it was just for that I don’t know why they would fly into White Plains to go to Brooklyn and not LaGuardia or even Newark

I’ve flown into White Plains to beat the chaos of the big airports. You can catch the train into the city easy there.

Honestly same if it's that Bristow kid. Big news would be Fland, Philon, Watkins, or something of that caliber.

It’s actually they granted Max Scharnowski a medical redshirt and he’ll be back next year

Fun Fact: Jalil Bethea will be the top ranked player from the 2024 class still playing college basketball next year.

I wouldn't get my hopes too high considering this caveat he added.

I’ve found a lot of those twitter accounts are simply guessing for clicks/follows. I’m sure Rylan will announce something in the next day or two, so if you post that this afternoon you have a better than good chance to look right.

Or he might actually know something. But I doubt it.

Rylan is probably bench depth on this team even with it being a weaker roster than the last 3.

I thought so at first but with us likely not landing a point guard in the portal Holloway is more than likely our 1. With that being said we’ll need more height to help on defense. Right now assuming Rylan commits this my early starting five.

1. Holloway
2. Bethea
3. Griffen
4. Bol
5. Sherrill

Not very confident in our front court at the moment but hopefully Sherrill makes strides in his game this offseason.

I figure Mallette would be the 3 with the given mix plus Rylan.

By some of you guys energy...we might as well hang next season up before it even gets started.

Bristow would be a huge get. Rylan would be a huge get!

Everybody wants a BIG NAME. We don't need Boogie Fland, Jamir Watkins, or whoever else... don't get me wrong I would welcome them with open arms if the decided to come but DEVELOP the one's you have.

Aden Holloway, Jalil Bethea, and Latrell Wrightsell Jr could all develop into point guards. Their not going to be TWO'S at the next level.

Fans are so worried about who's transferring in when the main thing they should be worried about is who's the new assistant coach going to be...and hopefully it'll be somebody who can teach TEAM DEFENSE!

This team right here would be the one that wins it all.

Everything is going to work itself out...y'all will see

Pardon me but that's horseshite. This roster as is plus Rylan and Bristow as the lone additions is a 7 or 8 seed at best and 50/50 to make it out of the first weekend. Especially with how brutally Nate schedules. And spare me the "I have faith in Oats" speil. So do we all. But being realistic that we've kinda struck out in the portal on our biggest needs so far is just being realistic not having a lack of faith.

Wrightsell is coming off a major injury. No telling what he will be like out there.

Holloway is a major liability on defense. Holloway regularly seemed like he was just running around like elementary schoolers playing soccer: didn't know what he was doing and just chasing the ball around...

I have no clue what Bethea will be given he played on a miserable team and didn't have a great year himself.

Oats is a great coach...he'll figure out something to make this team functional at a minimum. It's just not a rosy situation and there is no reason to sugarcoat it.

This team with just Rylan and Bristow is a top 25 team. This team with LP, Rylan and Bristow is top 15, borderline top 10. A LOT more shooting in this group. This would be the 3rd best roster under Oats IMO only behind 2025 and 2023.

Plus college basketball as a whole is gonna be a lot weaker this year because all of the Covid guys left
