Chuck has been a lot tougher going up when he’s gotten the ball in prime position. JQ made some great passes to him tonight as well. Previously it seemed like only JD had been trying to make those.

Here is the stat to keep track of during our games to decide whether we win or lose..........
- When Alabama's Opponent shoots > 50% from 2PT, Alabama is 3-8
- When Alabama's Opponent shoots < 50% from 2PT, Alabama is 14-1
- Our 3 wins when we gave up > 50%? South Dakota State (1.29 PPP), Miami (1.27 PPP) and Ole Miss (1.35 PPP).
- Our 1 loss when we gave up < 50%? Kentucky (0.74 PPP)
If we play solid interior defense and don't give up easy put backs, we win.

My gosh do I feel bad for whatever suckers draw them in the tournament. Not necessarily because they'll lose (though they might), but because they will make you sweat your balls off for 40 frickin minutes.

The summit league will always have a special place in my heart
They have 3 top 100 offenses and 6 bottom 100 defenses
St. Thomas is a perfect fit for that league. 99th in offense and literally the last defense

BS. These refs tonight sucked donkey testes and they deserved to hear about it. Plus it fired the team up and avoided a likely loss at that point in the game.

So according to that Torvik predicter if we lost out and lost the 1st game of the SECt we would be in the “Last 4 Byes”

I’m just glad y’all are finally coming to the dark side (believing we can win in Rupp) . They’re banged up, TyTy might not play, we’re on a 3 game winning streak, and it’s an 11 am game so maybe we can catch them and their crowd half asleep
I want to win
I'm not sure I believe we can win
I'm just glad that there is zero pressure and it's basically a shot at a huge win with no downside and therefore the only thing that can make me mad is if we are up 14 in the 2nd half and then lose..............shite

No. 25 Alabama Uses Late Run to Overwhelm Mississippi State, 80-75
The Crimson Tide’s 18-2 run late in the second half secures the team’s third-straight victory
The No. 25 Alabama men's basketball team went on an 18-2 second half run to take down Mississippi State, 80-75, Wednesday night inside Coleman Coliseum. It marked the Crimson Tide's third consecutive victory and fourth win over the last six contests.
Four UA players reached double figures led by Jahvon Quinerly's 21 points and eight assists while center Charles Bediako scored a career-high 15 points, including six dunks, and matched a season-best of six blocked shots. Darius Miles and Jaden Shackelford also scored in double figures with 12 points apiece.
With the win, the Crimson Tide (17-9, 7-6 SEC) and Bulldogs (14-11, 5-7) split their season series with each team winning on its home floor (MSU defeated Alabama 78-76 back on Jan. 15).

"Our guys answered the bell tonight. I screwed up with the referees and I got tossed. I thought the staff did a great job. Charlie (Henry), (Antoine) Pettway and Bryan (Hodgson) came together and rallied our guys. After they scored the first two times, we went on an 18-2 run. So, I thought their energy picked up and we played hard. I'm proud of our guys for figuring out a way to win when we didn't shoot well. We only hit 20 percent from three. Keon (Ellis) and Shack, two of our better shooters, didn't make a single one. They went 0-of-13 combined from three. Somehow, we still figured out a way to win the game. I thought Quinerly was aggressive tonight and Charles is just getting better and better every game. There's a lot of positives. We outrebounded one of the best rebounding teams in the league, in the country. Our guards needed to rebound and they showed up big in the rebounding department. We made some free throws late and closed the game out. I'm happy for our guys and with the effort, especially late in the game.
