JQ can't even give the right kind of help defense. Could have stole that ball, but just let him drive right through our middle to set up an easily finish

Last year towards the end of the year we were running lineups with Gary at the 5 and he was giving us defense and rebounding and toughness, and this year it’s just not the same for some reason.
The regression there, the Gurley misevaluation, the Burnett injury - all pretty big problems.

Gary is probably a pretty good example of a guy who requires other elite defenders around him.

It's amazing what a different team this is defensively without Jones. At least, I'm assuming that's where the steep dropoff has come from compared to last season.

Biggest issue with the defense is the perimeter defense is just complete trash.
