Yeah my lingering concern with Gurley is that it was just a gigantic misevaluation.

Hopefully that’s not the case. I can’t say I watched many of his Furman games, but it wasn’t like we were the only team in for him.

He’s made a few athletic plays going to the basket, and I thought he was good defensively versus Drake. Everything else? Not good.

We stunk tonight, but the non-conference portion of our season as a whole has been a pretty big positive.

Also losing to Iona, struggling versus JSU, and beating Gonzaga and Houston is very us. No one would have predicted that, but it sort of feels right.

Shack drops from 18.2 ppg to 16.5, but is still the leading scorer.

JQ is up to 14.8 and Keon is up to 12.7.

Yeah, it's pretty weird. The staff was over the moon to get this guy and as it stands he's probably our 8th best player. Is it possible that KAH can actually push him for PT at some point?

We haven’t done well with transfers

Can't disagree too much, but Bruner was a fantastic fit before he had to have surgery on both knees in the middle of conference play.

Gurley has been a huge disappointment so far. Beetle was also a pretty big disappointment imo.

He's just too damn slow.

Yeah, his athleticism was exaggerated a good bit. He's not all that much more athletic than pre injury Bruner was imo.

If he can rebound, yes.

I don’t think his speed/athleticism is the problem. Unfortunately like literally everything else is a concern.

I think Rojas is the one that takes Gurley’s minutes. If this continues.

He's awfully slow and unathletic. That causes a lot of his other issues.

Anyway, not sure about the health of Alex but Oats has got to let KAH get some minutes to give Bediako a break and help keep him from fouling out.
