We have some teams that play solid basketball for an entire game, but some folks like to criticize us for being critical of the shitty play that we’ve witnessed from our own team. Why can’t we want better?

I love our coach. We're loaded with talent. Happy we're 5-1. Chance to be 6-1 come Sunday.
However, in winning today, 17 turnovers, 5-17, 26% from the arc.
Zags will certainly have their way next Saturday with a similar stat line.

You can want better without constant bitching (not saying you specifically). Everyone is saying how great both of those teams played, yet they shot 28% and 30% from three. Duke went 15 of 25 for 60% from the line. Gonzaga had 17 turnovers. And both teams had multiple guys about to foul out.
Bama has played a couple of clunkers, but it's a lot easier for people to overlook flaws in other supposed great teams' games than our own. We lost a lot of experience and we're missing Herb and Petty's defense, along with the threat of Petty catching fire and making 8-10 threes in a game. I think this team can be very good, but I also realize it might take some time.

Look, when people say we play like shite, it doesn’t matter if we are freshmen or not. shite is shite. There might be excuses, but in the long term, it doesn’t matter, regardless of the reason, if you play or coach like shite, you should be able to express it.

I think we all want better but realistically it takes time with a new roster and I also think that we will play much better against better competition. We played down to Iona just like we did in the tournament last season. We got to play our BRAND of basketball. I still think we haven't taken enough three's like we should. It's a work in progress though and I don't want to peak right now anyway so we just need to take it one game at a time.

Yea nobody is saying to fire the coach or that we are doomed for the season. But we are watching a game and we are currently playing like shite, therefore we say "we look like shite".

have posted in a while but at one point the other team went 10 minutes without a made basket. We still could not build a lead. I watched enough of the game while I was still working and I did not see us push the offense much. Was that just me? PUshing the offense increases your TO's which I can understand but again i dont recall a lot of that
