This is not a knock on him, but I don't think Primo is actually on any draft boards.

He has to show some ability to get to the hoop, play make, etc. I do think he'll get there eventually.

I think the obvious candidate (or more obvious than Primo) to worry about would be Quinerly, but he's been pretty insistent about coming back (at least on Twitter). That's it a take it for what it's worth thing - he might change his mind.

Yeah I mean our top transfer target is announcing April 8th, our top high school target has allegedly been on the verge of announcing for a month now, and conversations about playing time next year are likely happening this week, so it kinda stands to reason that it'll be an interesting couple of weeks with regards to roster management. Nothing particularly foreboding about that tweet.

Primo has a lot of upside.

I’d like to see him be able to create his own shot off the dribble and be more aggressive getting to the rim. He was kind of just a catch and shoot guy this year so he’d disappear at times.

I think he’s more skilled as a freshman than Petty as a senior.

Primo going pro really a concern? He didn’t even average double figures,

More of me being a pessimistic Bammer always expecting the worse. The NBA is always about potential. I expect him to put his name in, but return.

I think if there is anything “unexpected” it may come from Ambrose and perhaps Miles. And it would be them looking at the roster and who’s coming in and then wondering how much they’ll see the floor. Similar to Forbes last off-season.

Rojas transferring is a Given. If we need someone else to leave Then Ambrose is my next guess.

That would be the best guess, but I still can't see KAH leaving. Even though Oats likes to play 4 guards, he'll probably sub in for Gary at 4 at times.

Ambrose has a high ceiling too. Guys like him and Miles are definitely long-term guys you develop until they shine as upperclassmen.

Primo isn’t ready for the NBA yet. I do expect Q to put his name in and go through the process similar to what Herb and Petty have done in the past. Just hope he doesn’t turn too many heads if he does get some workouts.

"Even more likely a very expected transfer, and Cecil not wanting to ruffle any feathers."

I'm going to guess Cecil got a call from the basketball offices or a coaching staff member.

As long as we hang onto JQ, Ellis, Primo, Tchikou, and Miles I will be OK.

As much as I like Miles and think he has potential, I'd much rather have Gary and Shackelford.

I’m on record I think Miles plays a substantial role for us next year

I think he could as well but I'd say Shack and Gary are just about guaranteed to.

I think Miles will be just as good as Shack next year. There I said it. I could be wrong but dude has so much raw talent.

That BHMKyle is a low key Bama basketball hater. He is always tearing our basketball program down.

I think it's interesting that our offense really wasn't much different this year than last year.

I think the offense has a chance to be a lot better next year. As much as I like Herb, the offense wasn’t very good when he was running the point. With the JD and Q in the backcourt next year, the offense should be a thing of beauty. I do think D might take a slight step back. Of course, Herb but Petty was a huge part of our perimeter D as well

The post-2002 defensive collapse is the tale of the Gottfried era. And then, post-2005, the slide in recruiting started showing up on the offensive side. And that was all she wrote.

I think it will certainly be a more talented offensive roster, and probably more consistently able to score.

I also think that the collection of offensive players will be more conducive to winning in March because we'll have more guys who can score at the rim and not be so heavily reliant on streaky outside shooting.
