The highlights you’re talking about is just Bediako playing for Team Canada. They played against Baylor and play them again tonight.

That's a blessing! I know his hometown is going nuts right now.

Oh, thanks. The tweet I saw didn't make that clear and team Canada's unis looked a lot like Bama's road uni at first glance. I forgot the dates for the Euro trip and thought it had started. And I swear that tweet said it was against an Italian team. It showed Bediako with a slam.

Keon Ellis had an outstanding day today For the Sacramento kings going 5 for 6 from the 3 point line.

It looks like he played 90% of the time. They hardly ever took him out. He did a pretty good job of locking down RJ Hampton as well on defense.

I'm afraid hes really going to get pushed around a lot when the real games start this fall. But if He shoots the 3 point like he did today it may not be a big concern

Notice how Herbert Jones is on the sideline watching in the expensive seats and Trendon Watford is playing right now in Summer League after Trendon said Herb would be playing in Lithuania

Never saw that quote. But i did find this trying to locate it...

quote:

Their next matchup figures to be much more memorable. Jones, a junior forward at Alabama, will be reunited with Watford, a freshman forward at LSU, as the Crimson Tide travels to Baton Rouge, La., to take on the No. 22 Tigers on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. CT.

“I mean, he’s my best friend,” said Jones, who claims he talks to Watford almost every day. “I grew up with him, played on the same AAU team, so I mean I know him pretty well.”

I never saw it before either, so i'm not sure Watford actually ever said that tbh. It's funny to me anyways though, because I don't think anyone saw how these two would play out so far.

3* Herb Jones was drafted and is a big enough part of the rotation that he doesn't even have to play summer league in his second year.

5* Trendon Watford was supposedly a one and done that went undrafted after his sophomore year and is still playing summer league ball two years after college.

One signed the largest 2nd round contract in league history (iirc) and the other had a got a two way contract to start out.

Maybe i'm just being petty - I don't care though, it's funny.

I thought Herb didn't really play AAU ball. Am I thinking of someone else?

That tweet about what Watford said is true (couple people with the program at that time have said it) but it wasn’t ever a quote said to the public. It was something said I think during a timeout in that 40 point beating we gave them in Baton Rouge. Trendon was probably just pissed that he was getting embarrassed by his friends and mouthed off.

@UARoundballGuy and @BamaRoundball on twitter were posting them. I think the ones he posted was Bediako/Canada vs like Italy. But he’s played against Baylor a couple times the past couple weeks too.

Another solid performance by Keon Ellis.

He's coming with it on both ends of the floor.

Yep, that's our Keon. I love the guy, but he's not going to create any offense. But he'll score. If he were actually 6'6", he could have a long career as a 3 and D. At 6'3, most likely playing SG, he'll need to get more proactive with the ball.
