Team played extremely well.
I think the team can build off this game. Pringle and Wague played extremely well. The refs kept them from being extremely effective throughout the game.
We had to play the refs today... that's not a lie.
Grant Nelson disappeared again though in the second half. He doesn't have a future in the NBA if he keeps doing that. He needs another year by the way.
Estrada disappeared as well.
Proud of the team and the coaches.

Auburn smoking Indiana. Hoosiers not looking great.
Hey at least we won’t have to defend another 7’4 guy. That has to improve your confidence defensively….

Mostly encouraging game. Hope Oats goes in on us not being allowed to touch Edey

I'm actually encouraged honestly.
Bama just need to rid themselves of bad possessions down the stretch.

Considering Purdue was a 1 seed and returned everyone and we hung with them in a hostile environment with a lot of new guys still learning to play together was a great sign. Bodes well for the end of the year cause we should steadily improve over the course of the season.

I’m worried our non conference schedule ends up at 8-5. It will take a great conference record to get a bid with no good out of conference wins imo. Possible NIT unless we kill it after January

Hilarious if that’s your first thought after that game. We gave up a 10 foul disparity with our whole frontcourt in foul trouble while Edey was throwing elbows and ripping our bigs jersey’s with no call and still almost won that game against a top 5 team in what was essentially a home game for them.

We knew Edey would get his but Smith getting 27 really hurt.
Dude shoots 3s like a chick btw. Weak azz.
I’m more pissed that we had a great chance to beat them and sketchy officiating held us back. Purdue fans on Reddit led the charge with the Miller slander last year. They talked so much shite.
Wanted this one badly. Too bad our team last year was actually legit and lost key players to the NBA. Purdue returned everyone. Our team last year would have curb stomped this Purdue squad.

2 good opinions in a row. There's no morale victory, but there's a lot to be encouraged about.
Sears is a fricking baller. It's been fun to watch his development under Oats. He was absolutely exhausted by the end.
Nelson was hurt all week, so I'm not surprised he disappeared in the second half of a physical game. But it's happened before in these types of games. Consistency is important for him to improve on, and ball and with 3 shooting.
Estrada was disappointing today. 5 points in 2 of 8 shooting. Not sure why the slump. Whether it's learning to play with other scorers, when used to being to only option, I i don't know. But he's struggled against high major opponents.
Overall, there's team had a ton of room to improve. They'll never be physically dominant. But when they gel, can definitely make some noise. The coaching staff is gonna have to earn their money this year for us to put it together by March.

Only negative is Estrada playing 30mins and scoring 5pts. He has gotta be better and give Sears some help

I unfortunately wasnt able to watch game. I do know that 1) Oats is a good coach 2) Lot of season left to improve 3) Its how you finish, not how you start

Goddamn it would've been nice to have Bediako in this game.

Should Bama play Dioubate and Cosby instead of Stevenson?

We are now #312 in Luck.

Estrada wasn’t the same after he hurt his ankle right at the beginning of the game. Today’s result sucked because I felt like we were the better team the large majority of the game but hopefully they can find a way to steal 1 of the next 2.

I am not expressing my opinion. I asked other people's opinions.
